Some Christians are not even aware that the Sabbath is Saturday. The Bible tells us in Daniel that a persecuting power would change God’s laws which it did – the Seventh Day Sabbath became the first day sabbath without God’s approval. The book of Daniel also refers to this change of God’s law by the antichrist power as reaching to the host of heaven and trampling the heavenly sanctuary under foot. We find the same expression used in Hebrews chapter ten in reference to wilful sin. Hebrews 10:26-29 “For if we sin WILFULLY after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, … He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” This passage warns us that there remains no sacrifice to cover wilful sin and to continue in wilful sin is to trample the Son of God under foot and to treat Christ's work on the cross as an unholy thing despite being under grace. This is a warning we should take very seriously. The change to the Sabbath day came about over hundreds of years and by the death of millions of Christians. This is another fact that most Christians are unaware of. Select the following to watch a typical true story of the death of a Sabbath keeper by burning. Why is the Sabbath truth rarely taught? If these points are true, why don’t we hear more pastors teaching them? If the Sabbath is Saturday, then why don’t the majority keep the true Sabbath day? How could the majority be wrong and even more to the point, do we still have to keep the Seventh day Sabbath at all? Revelation 13 tells us that Satan would give position and authority to the persecuting power described in Daniel that changed God’s law. Why do you think Satan did this? This power that persecuted the saints for 1260 dark years murdered anyone found keeping the Seventh day Sabbath according to the Commandment of God. Anyone that had a different view to this persecuting power was considered a heretic and heretics were to be burned. As a result, the Sabbath truth was nearly murdered out of existence and since most Churches originated from this persecuting power, most Churches now ignorantly keep the wrong day they instituted. The final change to the Sabbath day was in the fourth century but note that the change originated from Satanic and pagan sun worship as early as 2000 B.C. Remember that Satan was responsible for all of this and did not go to all this effort for no reason. Since the majority grow up with Sunday worship as their custom, it becomes very much a mind set and people are also very reluctant to accept change or alter their lifestyle. Saturday is also a day that is not convenient for most Christians and so sadly, most would rather not know truth and go into denial. Because of these factors, even when a pastor is presented with the Sabbath truth, it becomes difficult to both accept and see. This instantly gives the enemy the upper hand as he now just whispers in your mind, “the day does not matter. If it mattered everyone would know about it and would be keeping Saturday.” Sadly, all too many listen and never investigate and Satan continues to be victorious in keeping Christians ignorantly breaking one of the Commandments of God. Billy Graham was said to have acknowledged the Sabbath truth but stated, “If I were to teach this truth, I would lose most of my listeners.” Jesus said we are to both obey and teach the law and one cannot sacrifice truth at any cost. The enemy has gone to extreme lengths to make sure the Sabbath truth is not taught or believed and continues to go to extreme lengths and deceptions to keep us ignorant of this truth. Knowing he has done this, Christians should realise that it is very relevant and extremely important we know why. For example, how important is sin to God? Many say the Sabbath was changed to Sunday in honour of the resurrection and others say it was nailed to the cross. Others will tell you any day can be kept as the Sabbath day as long as you keep one. And still others say as long as you do everything to the glory of God the Sabbath is as good as kept. And yet still others will say it is legalism. Worst of all, and this is becoming more popular by the decade, some say the Ten Commandments are gone. Never underestimate the enemy’s ability to slowly and subtly bring heresy into the Church and make those with the most Biblical truth to get labelled falsely as cults or legalists. It should be obvious that Satan will always attack truth the hardest and sadly he has no trouble finding those he can deceive to accomplish his task very convincingly. The fact of the matter is that what is popular is not always truth and what is truth is not always popular. Since the Sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments that defines what sin is, why wouldn't Satan attack this one Commandment that is the easiest one to attack and do everything in his power to ensure that it does not get recognized or taught so he can get many to live in lawlessness? If one truly studies this and checks it with unbiased history, you will in fact find that Satan has achieved this goal and because most Christians do not study the Word and tend to rely on what their friends or pastor tells them, the lie continues to be perpetuated. What is the Sabbath Day about? Our Creator God starts off the fourth Commandment with the word “Remember.” This is because He knew it would be lost and forgotten. God asks that we keep the Sabbath set apart for Holy purposes so we can draw nearer to Him. The Fourth Commandment to remember the Sabbath concludes the section of the Ten Commandments that specifically helps define a proper relationship with God, how we are to love, worship and relate to Him. It explains why and when we need to take special time to draw closer to our Creator. It is also a special sign between us and God forever, that it is Him that sanctifies us; Him alone who we belong to and worship. The Sabbath, the Seventh day of the week was set apart by God as a time of rest and spiritual rejuvenation. So why is this Commandment so frequently ignored, attacked and explained away by so many Christians? Could it be because the challenges to the Sabbath Commandment are views generated by the ruler of this present evil world? After all, this being wants us to accept these views because he hates God’s law. He does all he can to influence us to ignore, avoid and reason our way around it. On our calendar the Sabbath begins at sunset Friday evening and ends at sunset Saturday evening. Those that keep the true Sabbath day say that it is a blessing and their favourite day of the week. The Sabbath is quality time with family and relaxing and fellowshipping with God and other Christians. Jesus said we are to not only obey the Ten Commandments but teach them also yet some people are doing the opposite. Why are these people so determined to take this blessing from those who keep the Sabbath properly, and in the way Jesus intended and not like the Pharisees who turned it into a legalistic burden? What spirit is behind this? Why do so many professed Christians try so desperately hard to avoid this special time with their Creator God on His Holy day? The Sabbath should be our favourite day of the week and it is for those who have searched for the truth on the Sabbath and found it. God says we are to find this day a delight and a blessing. God did not say we should call it legalism or a burden! Isaiah 58:13-14 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a DELIGHT, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shall honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shall you delight thyself in the LORD...” Like all the other nine Commandments, IT IS a Commandment of love and thus loving God with all your heart includes all the first four Commandments. We know this for a fact because right after the second reading of the Ten Commandments in Deuteronomy chapter 5, we are shown in Deuteronomy 6:5 that LOVING God with all our heart, might and soul is to keep ALL the Ten Commandments that had just been read in the previous chapter only 17 verses earlier. That of course makes ALL Ten Commandments eternal. Our God is not a God of confusion that mixes a law that defines what love and sin is with something that is not love or not sin. Whether we understand it or not, to try and find reasons as to why the Sabbath is changed or ended is no different from trying to find excuses as to why it is now acceptable to worship idols or commit murder etc. There is another law found in the Old Testament that was only for the Jews and had ceremonial sabbaths but God did not place His Sabbath in this law. He placed it in the Ten Commandments because that is where it belongs. The Ten Commandments were written in stone while the ceremonial law was written in a book and hence it was also called the “Book of the Covenant.” Have you ever heard the expression “it is not written in stone?” Written in stone means forever. On paper and in a book is temporary. So basically God had two specific laws. One was temporary, written in a book, was not love, only for the Jews, practised because of sin before Christ and why it was nailed to the cross. The other was eternal, written in stone, was love, for everyone, was sin to break and hence was NOT nailed to the cross. Now consider this question very carefully. If the Sabbath of the Lord was temporary and only for the Jews, which law would you place it in? In the temporary law or the eternal law? And is that where God placed His Sabbath? No! God placed His Sabbath exactly where it belonged. He placed it in the law that was love and eternal and for everyone along with the other Nine Commandments that obviously will never and can never end. Since God is not a fool or the author of confusion, then this alone reveals the truth. God makes a distinction between the ceremonial sabbaths and His Sabbath found in the Ten Commandments by exhorting, “But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God:” (Exodus 20:10, Deuteronomy 5:14). It is the Lord’s Sabbath! It did not belong to Israel. God further clarifies this by calling His Sabbath, “My Sabbaths,” as in His weekly Sabbaths, (Exodus 31:13, Ezekiel 20:20) while calling the ceremonial sabbaths that were only for Israel, “Her Sabbaths.” Her as in Israel. (Hosea 2:11, Lamentations 1:7) If God sent an Angel to tell you that He loves you and sent His only Son to die for you and that He wants you to spend quality time with Him on a specific day that He blessed and sanctified, would you send the Angel back to God with the message, “sorry God, that day is not convenient for me” or “no God, I can't spend that time with you on your Holy day, that's legalism” or even, “tell God that it does not have to be on His Holy day and I will spend time with Him on that day that was used for sun worship that He detested instead.” Is that what we would really say? Why is it so hard for us to rest and worship Him on His Holy day? Many believe that there are only one or two denominations or groups that keep the true Sabbath day when there are in fact over five hundred different denominations of Sabbath keeping Churches that that keep the true 7th day Sabbath and the count is growing. Whole chains of Churches are changing back after attending Prophecy seminars run by people that have not been deceived by Satan's attempt to keep Christians in the dark on the Sabbath truth or Bible prophecy believing it cannot be understood. Do these hundreds of different Church denominations with millions and millions of members know something that we don’t? Why is the Sabbath important to God? We have already noted that God intended the Sabbath to be a blessing to us and has asked us to call His Sabbath a DELIGHT, but what else makes the Sabbath so important to God? Most people understand that it is morally wrong to lie, steal, murder and to worship idols or take the Lord's name in vain etc, but the reason Satan is so successful in keeping so many from the Sabbath truth is because it is easy for him to convince the multitudes it is not important. Sadly, most do not see the Sabbath as important as on the surface breaking the Sabbath does not appear to be morally wrong. The question is; does God see the Sabbath day as being important? If it is important to God then it has to be important to us. Since God made His Sabbath part of the Ten Commandments, it becomes sin to break the Sabbath as sin is breaking any of the Ten Commandments. Sin is the reason Jesus died on the cross for us and it does not get more serious than that. We should know how much God detests sin but what are some other reasons that make the Sabbath so significant? Exodus 31:13-17 “Speak you also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a SIGN between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am the LORD that does SANCTIFY you. … 15 Six days may work be done; but in the Seventh is the Sabbath of rest, Holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a PERPETUAL covenant. 17 It is a SIGN between me and the children of Israel FOR EVER: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the Seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.” Ezekiel 20:20 “And hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a SIGN between me and you, that you may know that I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD.” The Sabbath is a special SIGN that defines that we are God’s children and He is our God that sanctifies us and makes us Holy. It also defines therefore that it is God who we worship and love and give our allegiance to. It is not a SIGN when we keep a secular day and profane God’s Sabbath. There is a lot more that could be cited but this should be enough to help you understand why this day is important to God and why it is a sin against God for us to not keep His Sabbath day Holy. Is there anyone who does not want to be part of this SIGN? Some will say that this perpetual covenant that is a SIGN forever, (Exodus 31:13-17) applies only to the Israel of God and this is correct. The question is; who is the Israel of God? Today there is an Israel of the flesh (1 Corinthians 10:18) and an Israel of God, Galatians 6:16. The Israel of the flesh consists of those who are Jews by birth. The Israel of God is anyone who belongs to Christ and is under the New Covenant. Many do not understand that if we are Christ’s then we are spiritual Jews and the Israel of God. If we reject this truth then we cannot be under the New Covenant. Observe who the New Covenant was ONLY made with. This came into effect when the Jews rejected God’s message from Stephen (Acts 6:8-7:60) and stoned him. Hebrews 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the HOUSE OF ISRAEL after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:” Since the Sabbath is a SIGN that we are God's children, if we reject His Sabbath, then aren’t we rejecting God as our Father? And since the Sabbath is a SIGN that it is God that sanctifies us, if we reject His Sabbath, then aren’t we also rejecting His sanctification? All God asks from us is one single solitary day in seven. We still have the other six secular days to do as we please. Is one day an unreasonable request from our Creator God? Christians claim to love God with all their heart, might and soul, yet how do most respond? The number seven represents completion and perfection to God and this is the only reason we do have a seven day week. If not for this very special Sabbath day God has given us, we would only have a six day week. If we do not use this Seventh day Sabbath which God blessed and sanctified for this one and only use, what point is there in having this Seventh day of the week? God added this one and only day with this one and only purpose, so we could spend Holy time with our Holy God that is a most beautiful SIGN that He is our God and we are His children. Again, despite this blessing, how do most respond? Believe it or not, I have had enough excuses now to fill an entire book. An appropriate name for this book would be, “The book of excuses for not having to spend time with your Creator God on His Holy day.” How God must grieve every time someone chooses one of these 1001 excuses. Does God know our heart? If we use one of these excuses will God know? Does God know if we don’t want the truth about His day because it would be an inconvenience to us? If we use one of these 1001 excuses, can we truly say we love God with all our heart, might and soul? If we do not love God with all our heart, will God accept us into His kingdom? What are the consequences for not keeping the Sabbath? The book of James tells us if we break one Commandment we have broken them all. So if the Sabbath is Saturday and if we are supposed to be keeping the true Sabbath day then most Christians are guilty of breaking God’s law. The Bible tells us that only a few will find the straight and narrow gate. Was this referring to Christians specifically? Noah preached for 120 years that a great flood was coming and only 8 were saved. Jesus said that at the time of His second coming it is going to be like in the days of Noah. Why do we only acknowledge what we want to see? God pleads with us as to why we would perish. Hosea prophesied that God’s people would perish for a lack of knowledge which does not sound fair but then he explains it is because they would reject knowledge in regards to the Commandments of God, so He in return would reject them. Considering how many people have rejected knowledge on the Sabbath Commandment, this sadly makes perfect sense. Hebrews 10:26-29 says there is no sacrifice to cover wilful sin and it is to trample the Son of God underfoot and count the blood of the New Covenant as an unholy thing despite being under God’s grace. Jesus says to those who practice lawlessness, He will deny access to the kingdom. So if we are supposed to keep the Sabbath day and are ignorant of this fact, how will we be judged? Would God burn someone in Hell for being ignorant? What about denial? It appears that everyone has different ideas about the Seventh day Sabbath. When there is so much confusion and conflicting information you know that deception reigns and one seriously needs to investigate to find what the truth really is and especially when the consequences for deliberate sin is to be left out of the kingdom. Are the Ten Commandments still relevant today? If something as important as the Ten Commandments were to change by even the smallest amount we would be told with crystal clear scriptures. Most Christians will not debate that nine of the Ten Commandments need to be obeyed but so many freely sweep one under the carpet that becomes too much of an effort for them. Denial of truth of any of the Ten Commandments has only one outcome as far as God is concerned and we do not want that path. Unless black and white scriptures can be produced that says the day has changed or been abolished, then the Sabbath is just as valid as the other nine Commandments and the consequences are the same for deliberately breaking any one of them. Does anyone believe they can freely murder as they please and still enter the kingdom of God? So do all the Ten Commandments still stand or does the Bible indicate that we can live in wilful deliberate sin? We certainly are saved by God’s Grace through faith in Christ, but is this a license to continue in sin? Did Jesus die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin or so we could go on living in sin? What does the only source of truth that we can trust have to say on this very important topic that nailed our loving Saviour to the cross? Here are the answers put simply by scripture alone while covering the main areas of confusion. What is the Bible definition of sin? 1 John 3:4. So where there is sin, there has to be a law. Romans 4:15. If there is no law then there can be no sin and if there is no sin then there is no need for a Saviour. Did Paul say we can sin now that we are under Grace which would therefore show the law had ended? Romans 6:1-2, Romans 6:14-15. Paul taught on the law and Galatians in chapters 2, 3 and 4 and Romans 3 that no flesh is justified by the works of the law and that righteousness comes by FAITH. Does this therefore mean that the Ten Commandments are made null and void through FAITH? Romans 3:31. So who is justified before God? Romans 2:13. Did Jesus say He came to do away with the law? Matthew 5:17. Did Jesus say He was going to change the law by even so much as one single letter? Matthew 5:18, Luke 16:17. Did Jesus say we have to teach the law as well as obey it? Matthew 5:19. Does Jesus say that those who practise lawlessness, which is the breaking of the Ten Commandments, will enter the kingdom? Matthew 7:21-23, 1 John 2:4. So what does Jesus say that one has to do to inherit eternal life? Matthew 19:16-19. Can we keep just nine of the Ten Commandments and are we judged by obedience to the law? James 2:10-12, Matthew 5:18, Luke 16:17. So what are the consequences for wilful sin, which is wilfully disobeying even ONE of the Ten Commandments? Hebrews 10:26-29, Ephesians 5:3, 5. What are the blessings for not living in wilful sin, which is obeying the Ten Commandments in loving obedience? Revelation 22:14. The passage in Matthew chapter 5 alone proves that not one letter of the law has changed which means that all scriptures used as arguments for ending or changing the Sabbath are being abused or misunderstood. The answers are indisputable and any other arguments would be in total contradiction to the words of Jesus, Paul and James just to name a few. I think Solomon summed it up well with his final conclusion in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14. Did Jesus and the early Church keep the Sabbath? If the Sabbath is an unchanged Commandment, then we should find Paul and the early Church keeping the Seventh day Sabbath. If this can be demonstrated, this would also prove that the Sabbath was not changed or abolished. So can we demonstrate this? We can of course and do in fact find Paul keeping the Sabbath as his CUSTOM was since childhood in a Jewish Synagogue. A custom is something you do religiously and without failure. What was Paul’s CUSTOM and EXAMPLE while establishing the early Christian Church? Notice in the following verse that this is a Jewish synagogue and that Jews have all through history, without change, worshipped on Saturday as they still do today. Acts 17:1-2. The Jews and Pharisees which Paul was since CHILDHOOD have ALWAYS kept Saturday as the Sabbath. Acts 26:4-5. This is proof conclusive of Saturday Sabbath keeping AFTER the cross and undoubtedly applies to both Jews and Gentiles if wondering. Acts 13:42-44; Acts 18:4. It was not only Paul’s custom and example but that of Jesus also and He is our perfect example. Luke 4:16. And unless Jesus is into making meaningless and nonsensical statements, He also clarified beyond all doubt that the Sabbath would definitely NOT end at the cross by His reference to the future destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, when he said, “And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath” Matthew 24:20. See also Sabbath in the New Testament. What day is the Sabbath Day according to the Bible? Below are statements from the Roman Catholic Church which give the simple answer as to why most Churches now keep Sunday as the Sabbath. Most Christians have no idea that this even happened or how it happened. Revelation 13 tells us that Satan gave his power and authority to the Catholic Church. Why? It was Satan's plan to have this Church change the Sabbath to Sunday. Why did Satan do this? The Sabbath is about who we give our allegiance to. If we obey God and keep His Sabbath day Holy, we give our allegiance to God. If we obey the Commandment of the Catholic Church and keep their day Holy, who do we give our allegiance to then? The Catholic Church answers this question below with two of their quotes. But looking deeper, who gave this Church power so God’s true day of worship could be changed? Does the Bible support the change to Sunday? “Most Christians assume that Sunday is the biblically approved day of worship. The Catholic Church protests that it transferred Christian worship from the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and that to try to argue that the change was made in the Bible is both dishonest and a denial of Catholic authority. If Protestantism wants to base its teachings only on the Bible, it should worship on Saturday.” Rome’s Challenge www.immaculateheart.com/maryonline Dec 2003 “For example, nowhere in the Bible do we find that Christ or the Apostles ordered that the Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the commandment of God given to Moses to keep holy the Sabbath day, that is the 7th day of the week, Saturday. Today most Christians keep Sunday because it has been revealed to us by the [Roman Catholic] church outside the Bible.” Catholic Virginian, October 3, 1947, p. 9, article “To Tell You the Truth.” Who Made Sunday Holy? “Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did, happened in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday. ‘The day of the Lord’ was chosen, not from any direction noted in the Scriptures, but from the (Catholic) Church’s sense of its own power...People who think that the Scriptures should be the sole authority, should logically become 7th Day Adventists, and keep Saturday holy.” St. Catherine Church Sentinel, Algonac, Michigan, May 21, 1995. “Question - Which is the Sabbath day? “Answer - Saturday is the Sabbath day. “Question - Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? “Answer - We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea (A.D. 364), transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.” Peter Geiermann, C.S.S.R., The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p. 50, 3rd edition, 1957. Whose Day of Worship is Sunday? “They [the Protestants] deem it their duty to keep the Sunday holy. Why? Because the Catholic Church tells them to do so. They have no other reason...The observance of Sunday thus comes to be an ecclesiastical law entirely distinct from the divine law of Sabbath observance...The author of the Sunday law...is the Catholic Church.” Ecclesiastical Review, February 1914. “It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.” Priest Brady, in an address reported in The News, Elizabeth, New Jersey, March 18, 1903. Who Do We Reverence by Keeping Sunday Holy? “It was the Catholic church which...has transferred this rest to Sunday in remembrance of the resurrection of our Lord. Therefore the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) church.” Monsignor Louis Segur, Plain Talk About the Protestantism of Today, p. 213. “I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to anyone who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone. The Bible says, ‘Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.’ The Catholic Church says: ‘No. By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week.’ And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in a reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church.” father T. We know the final change to the Sabbath was by the Roman Catholic Church, but who was really responsible and why? Many of you have probably already worked this out but let’s go through it anyway. Beginning with the early Church, Satan failed in his attempt at stopping the Son of God so he turned his attention to the Church. He initially tried to destroy the Church by having all Christians killed, but martyrdom just made the Church grow faster and stronger. Satan soon realised that he could do more damage from within the Church, so he gave the Papacy its power, seat and position. Even though most Christians do not know the importance of the Sabbath day, Satan knows the Sabbath truth all too well and he also knew that it was the easiest of the Ten Commandments to attack, and so put his long term plan into effect. How successful was his plan and who is responsible for his success? Satan fell from his position because of pride and because he wanted to be worshipped as God. Since no one in their right mind would worship Satan, he knew he could only obtain this worship from within the Church. The Seventh day Sabbath is about whom we worship and it is not a sign that we worship God or belong to Him when we keep the wrong day. Satan’s goal was therefore to have his own day of worship instituted in place of God’s and while achieving the primary goal of getting Christians away from a very significant Commandment and living in lawlessness. Using the Papacy as his agent, Satan changed God’s Seventh day Sabbath to a day in honour of pagan sun worship, hence the pagan name Sunday. Satan also knew that sun worship was something that God detested and was one of the reasons why God allowed His people to fall into the hands of the Babylonians. Satan no doubt had great pleasure in this accomplishment as he would have Christians breaking God’s law and not fulfilling the sign of the Sabbath, as well as further upsetting God by taking away His day of worship in place of Satan’s and in favour of sun worship which is idolatry. How Satan must clap his hands in glee over this victory that so many have given him. Christians now assume that Sunday is the correct day and it becomes a mind set as this is what their custom was growing up, and anything different does not feel right and seems foreign. This was Satan’s plan from the beginning and sadly, he has been very successful. Today the ruler of this world works very hard at feeding our minds with thoughts that this Commandment is insignificant and Christians who are not wanting to be inconvenienced by change are all too happy to listen. It’s time for Christians to stop being deceived and wake up to the fact that Satan was responsible and return to all Ten Commandments of God and this precious SIGN that we are His children and it is our Creator God that we worship. The Sabbath kept from creation to eternity The Sabbath has existed since creation when God added the Seventh day to the week with the one and only purpose of a Sabbath rest. This is the only reason we have a seven day week today. God also blessed and sanctified this day for Holy use. This was done before sin had entered the World and was part of God’s perfect plan. Most Christians do not know that the word translated “rested” in our English Bibles in Genesis 2:3 is actually “shabath” in the Hebrew and means Sabbath. Here is the word Sabbath right at creation. In reference to the future destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, Jesus states in Matthew 24:20, “And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.” This ONE statement alone PROVES that Jesus expected the Sabbath to be kept subsequent to His death. The gospel of Luke states in Luke 23:56 that when the body of Christ was being prepared, “they rested the Sabbath day according to the Commandment.” Luke’s gospel was written 30 to 50 years after the cross and Luke still shows that the Commandment is unchanged. If it were changed, Luke would have undoubtedly told us since it is one of the Commandments. Isaiah also prophesied in Isaiah 66:22-23 that, “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make … and from one Sabbath to another, shall ALL flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.” In Genesis 4:3-7, Cain brought an offering from the ground which represents righteousness by works and so God was angry with him but Abel brought the firstborn of his flock as a sin offering which represents righteousness by faith. You cannot have a sin offering unless there is a law. (1 John 3:4) In verse 7, we also see God speak to Cain about sin lying at the door. The Bible also says where there is no law there is no transgression (Romans 4:15) so the Commandments although not yet codified had to exist from the very beginning or Cain could also not have been guilty of murder. See also Genesis 26:5. Besides the Seventh day being called the Sabbath in the Hebrew in Genesis 2:3, God also said the Sabbath “is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever” because “in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.” Exodus 31:17. Here God further confirms that the Sabbath existed from the beginning when it was added as the Seventh day of the week at creation. For even more proof, we also know that the Sabbath existed back in Genesis chapter 11. In over 105 languages in the world where the Sabbath has not taken on the Pagan name Saturday, it is still called the Sabbath in each of these languages as it was named at creation. This proves that when these 105 languages originated at Babel in Genesis 11, Saturday was recognized as the Sabbath day and was incorporated into the very name of the day. Since the Sabbath was sanctified and made Holy before sin at creation and the Sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments which is also seen being kept before the giving of the Commandments, it had to be kept by Adam and Eve. It was also kept by Abraham, it was kept in the exodus from Egypt before the Ten Commandments were given when God tested His children to see if they would keep THE Seventh day as per the Commandment. It was kept by the Jews, it was kept by Jesus, it was kept by Paul, it was kept by the Apostles, it was kept by the early Church by both Jews and Gentiles, and this is also verified by Jesus who showed it would be kept in 70 AD when the temple was destroyed. History also further proves this by the fact that reliable unbiased history sources show that it was still being kept until around 90-120 AD where some Christians first changed to Sunday to avoid persecution for Judaism. History shows that the final part of the day change began with Constantine in 321 AD in favour of sun worship, and was made law by the Catholic Church around 363-364 AD. The Sabbath was almost murdered out of existence through the dark ages when the Roman Catholic Church ruled as Church and state for those terrible 1260 dark years, and Revelation 12:17 speaks of a remnant of God’s original Church that would arise after these dark ages that Satan would hate and make war with because it would start keeping all of the Ten Commandments of God once again. To finish this all off, God showed Isaiah that we will still be keeping the Sabbath in the new Heaven and the New Earth. Here is the Sabbath being kept from creation beginning and throughout all eternity. The Sabbath is eternal as the other nine. We should desire the Sabbath truth Would it surprise you to know that Jesus never once even mentioned the first day of the week? As Christians, we should always be seeking after the truth, as Jesus is the truth. If we really love Jesus with all our heart, soul and might, we will always strive to find what the truth is at absolutely any cost. However, with so many people saying so many different things, how can we possibly know what the truth really is? There is only one guaranteed way, and that is the inspired Word of God – The Holy Bible. The Bible is and should always be our final authority and not the advice of our Pastor or our most trusted friend. If we can find unbiased information on man’s knowledge of History on the Seventh day Sabbath, that can also be used to help us determine the truth but ultimately, we need to go by the Word of God. It is important to have full knowledge of who you are truly worshipping. For those people who follow their clergy that says God is a mystery. What are they missing? What knowledge are they missing? Hosea 4:1-2 – “Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.” Hosea 4:6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Who will we be worshipping? Will we be worshipping a trinity god in heaven and on the new earth? As crime and violence overrun our cities and homes, doesn’t it make sense that to secure peace and safety, we all should obey the laws of the land? Well, centuries ago, God wrote His own law in stone—and the Bible says we’re still supposed to keep it today. Violating any part of God’s law always brings negative consequences. But most important, keeping all of God’s law secures our peace and safety. Since so much is at stake, isn’t it worth your time to take a few minutes to seriously consider the place God’s Ten Commandments have in your life? 1. Did God really write the Ten Commandments Himself? “He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God. …Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets” (Exodus 31:18; 32:16). Answer: Yes! The God of heaven wrote the Ten Commandments on tables of stone with His own finger. 2. What is God’s definition of sin? “Sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4). Answer: Sin is the breaking of God’s Ten Commandment law. The law of God is perfect (Psalm 19:7), and its principles cover every conceivable sin. The commandments cover “man’s all [the whole duty of man]” (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Nothing is left out. 3. Why did God give us the Ten Commandments? “Happy is he who keeps the law” (Proverbs 29:18). “Keep my commands; for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you” (Proverbs 3:1, 2). Answer Answer A: As a guide for happy, abundant living. God created us to experience happiness, peace, long life, contentment, accomplishment, and all the other great blessings for which our hearts long. God’s law is a road map that points out the right paths to follow in order to find this true, supreme happiness. “By the law is the knowledge of sin” (Romans 3:20). “I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, ‘You shall not covet’ ” (Romans 7:7). "By the law is the knowledge of sin." Romans 3:20. "I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet." Romans 7:7. Answer B: To show us the difference between right and wrong. God’s law is like a mirror (James 1:23–25). It points out wrongdoing in our lives much like a mirror points out dirt on our faces. The only possible way for us to know we are sinning is to carefully check our lives by the mirror of God’s law. Peace for a mixed-up world can be found in God’s Ten Commandments. It tells us where to draw the line! “The Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes [commandments] … for our good always” (Deuteronomy 6:24). “Hold me up, and I shall be safe, and I shall observe Your statutes continually. You reject all those who stray from Your statutes” (Psalm 119:117, 118). Answer C: To protect us from danger and tragedy. God’s law is like a strong cage at the zoo that protects us from fierce, destructive animals. It protects us from falsehood, murder, idolatry, theft, and many other evils that destroy life, peace, and happiness. All good laws protect, and God’s law is no exception. “By this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments” (1 John 2:3). Answer D: It helps us to know God. Special Note: The eternal principles within God’s law are written deep in every person’s nature by the God who created us. The writing might be dim and smudged, but it is still there. We were created to live in harmony with them. When we ignore them, the result is always tension, unrest, and tragedy—just as ignoring the rules for safe driving can lead to serious injury or death. 4. Why is God’s law exceedingly important to you personally? “Speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty” (James 2:12). Answer: Because the Ten Commandment law is the standard by which God examines people in the heavenly judgment. 5. Can God’s law (the Ten Commandments) ever be changed or abolished? “It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail” (Luke 16:17). “My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips” (Psalm 89:34). “All His precepts [commandments] are sure. They stand fast forever and ever” (Psalm 111:7, 8). Answer: No. The Bible is clear that the law of God cannot be changed. The commandments are revealed principles of God’s holy character and are the very foundation of His kingdom. They will be true as long as God exists. This chart shows us that God and His law have the exact same characteristics, revealing that the Ten Commandment law is actually God’s character in written form—written so that we can better comprehend God. It is no more possible to change God’s law than to pull God out of heaven and change Him. Jesus showed us what the law—that is, the pattern for holy living—looks like when expressed in human form. God’s character cannot change; therefore, neither can His law. Did Jesus abolish God's law while He was here on earth? “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law. … I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. … Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled” (Matthew 5:17, 18). Answer Answer: No, indeed! Jesus specifically asserted that He did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill (or keep) it. Instead of doing away with the law, Jesus magnified it (Isaiah 42:21) as the perfect guide for holy living. For example, Jesus pointed out that “You shall not murder” condemns anger “without a cause” (Matthew 5:21, 22) and hatred (1 John 3:15), and that lust is a form of adultery (Matthew 5:27, 28). He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). 7. Will people who knowingly continue to break God’s commandments be saved? “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). “He will destroy its sinners” (Isaiah 13:9). “Whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all” (James 2:10). Answer: The Ten Commandment law guides us into holy living. If we ignore even one of the commandments, we neglect an essential part of the divine blueprint. If only one link of a chain is broken, its entire purpose is undone. The Bible says that when we knowingly break a command of God, we are sinning (James 4:17) because we have refused His will for us. Only those who do His will can enter the kingdom of heaven. Of course, God will forgive anyone who genuinely repents and accepts Christ’s power to change him or her. 8. Can anyone be saved by keeping the law? “By the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight” (Romans 3:20). “By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8, 9). Answer: No! The answer is too plain to miss. No one can be saved by keeping the law. Salvation comes only through grace, as a free gift of Jesus Christ, and we receive this gift by faith, not by our works. The law serves as a mirror that points out the sin in our lives. Just as a mirror can show you dirt on your face but cannot clean your face, so cleansing and forgiveness from that sin come only through Christ. 9. Why, then, is the law essential for improving a Christian’s character? “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all [whole duty]” (Ecclesiastes 12:13). “By the law is the knowledge of sin” (Romans 3:20). Answer: Because the full pattern, or “whole duty,” for Christian living is contained in God’s law. Like a six-year-old who made his own ruler, measured himself, and told his mother that he was 12 feet tall, our own standards of measure are never safe. We cannot know whether we are sinners unless we look carefully into the perfect standard—God’s law. Many think that doing good works guarantees their salvation even if they ignore keeping the law (Matthew 7:21–23). Hence, they think they are righteous and saved when, in fact, they are sinful and lost. “By this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments” (1 John 2:3). 10. What enables a truly converted Christian to follow the pattern of God’s law? “I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts” (Hebrews 8:10). “I can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 4:13). “God did by sending His own Son … that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us” (Romans 8:3, 4) Answer: Christ not only pardons repentant sinners, He also restores in them the image of God. He brings them into harmony with His law through the power of His indwelling presence. “Thou shalt not” becomes a positive promise that the Christian will not steal, lie, murder, etc., because Jesus lives within us and is in control. God will not change His moral law, but He made a provision through Jesus to change the sinner so we can measure up to that law. 11. But isn’t a Christian who has faith and is living under grace freed from keeping the law? “Sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin [break the law] because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!” (Romans 6:14, 15). “Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law” (Romans 3:31). Answer: No! The Scriptures teach the very opposite. Grace is like a governor’s pardon to a prisoner. It forgives him, but it does not give him the freedom to break another law. The forgiven person, living under grace, will actually want to keep God’s law in his or her gratitude for salvation. A person who refuses to keep God’s law, saying that he is living under grace, is sorely mistaken. 12. Are the Ten Commandments of God also affirmed in the New Testament? Answer: Yes—and very clearly so. Look over the following very carefully. The Law of God in the Old Testament. The Law of God in the New Testament. 1. "You shall have no other gods before Me" (Exodus 20:3). 1. "You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve" (Matthew 4:10). 2. "You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments" (Exodus 20:4–6). 2. "Little children, keep yourselves from idols" (1 John 5:21). "Since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising" (Acts 17:29). 3. "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain" (Exodus 20:7). 3. "That the name of God and His doctrine may not be blasphemed" (1 Timothy 6:1). 4. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it" (Exodus 20:8–11). 4. "He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: 'And God rested on the seventh day from all His works.' There remains therefore a rest ["keeping of a sabbath," margin] for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His" (Hebrews 4:4, 9, 10). 5. "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you" (Exodus 20:12). 5. "Honor your father and your mother" (Matthew 19:19). 6. "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13). 6. "You shall not murder" (Romans 13:9). 7. "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14). 7. "You shall not commit adultery" (Matthew 19:18). 8. "You shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15). 8. "You shall not steal" (Romans 13:9). 9. "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16). 9. "You shall not bear false witness" (Romans 13:9). 10. "You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's" (Exodus 20:17). 10. "You shall not covet" (Romans 7:7). 13. Are God’s law and Moses’ law the same? Answer: No—they are not the same. Study the following contrasts: Moses’ law contained the temporary, ceremonial law of the Old Testament. It regulated the priesthood, sacrifices, rituals, meat and drink offerings, etc., all of which foreshadowed the cross. This law was added “till the Seed should come,” and that seed was Christ (Galatians 3:16, 19). The ritual and ceremony of Moses’ law pointed forward to Christ’s sacrifice. When He died, this law came to an end, but the Ten Commandments (God’s law) “stand fast forever and ever” (Psalm 111:8). That there are two laws is made clear in Daniel 9:10, 11. Note: God’s law has existed at least as long as sin has existed. The Bible says, “Where there is no law there is no transgression [sin]” (Romans 4:15). So God’s Ten Commandment law existed from the beginning. Men broke that law (sinned—1 John 3:4). Because of sin (or breaking God’s law), Moses’ law was given (or “added”—Galatians 3:16, 19) till Christ should come and die. Two separate laws are involved: God’s law and Moses’ law. MOSES' LAW GOD'S LAW Called "the law of Moses" (Luke 2:22). Called "the law of the Lord" (Isaiah 5:24). Called "law ... contained in ordinances" (Ephesians 2:15). Called "the royal law" (James 2:8). Written by Moses in a book (2 Chronicles 35:12). Written by God on stone (Exodus 31:18 32:16). Placed in the side of the ark (Deuteronomy 31:26). Placed inside the ark (Exodus 40:20). Ended at the cross (Ephesians 2:15). Will stand forever (Luke 16:17). Added because of sin (Galatians 3:19). Points out sin (Romans 7:7 3:20). Contrary to us, against us (Colossians 2:14). Not burdensome (1 John 5:3). Judges no one (Colossians 2:14-16). Judges all people (James 2:10-12). Fleshly (Hebrews 7:16). Spiritual (Romans 7:14). Made nothing perfect (Hebrews 7:19). Perfect (Psalms 19:7). 14. How does the devil feel about people who pattern their lives after God’s Ten Commandments? “The dragon [the devil] was enraged with the woman [true church], and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God” (Revelation 12:17). “Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God” (Revelation 14:12). Answer: The devil hates those who uphold God’s law because the law is a pattern of right living, so it is not surprising that he bitterly opposes all who uphold God’s law. In his war against God’s holy standard, he goes so far as to use religious leaders to deny the Ten Commandments while at the same time upholding the traditions of men. No wonder Jesus said, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? … In vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:3, 9). And David said, “It is time for You to act, O Lord, for they have regarded Your law as void” (Psalm 119:126). Christians must wake up and restore God’s law to its rightful place in their hearts and lives. 15. Do you believe it is essential for a Christian to obey the Ten Commandments? Answer: Thought Questions 1. Doesn’t the Bible say the law was (or is) faulty? No. The Bible says the people were faulty. God found “fault with them” (Hebrews 8:8). And in Romans 8:3 the Bible says that the law “was weak through the flesh.” It is always the same story. The law is perfect, but the people are faulty, or weak. So God would have His Son live within His people “that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us” (Romans 8:4) through the indwelling Christ. 2. What does it mean when Galatians 3:13 says we are redeemed from the curse of the law? The curse of the law is death (Romans 6:23). Christ tasted “death for everyone” (Hebrews 2:9). Thus He redeemed all from the curse of the law (death) and in its place provided eternal life. 3. Don’t Colossians 2:14–17 and Ephesians 2:15 teach that God’s law ended at the cross? No. These passages both refer to the law containing “ordinances,” or Moses’ law, which was a ceremonial law governing the sacrificial system and the priesthood. All of this ceremony and ritual foreshadowed the cross and ended at Christ’s death, as God had intended. Moses’ law was added till the “Seed should come,” and that “Seed … is Christ” (Galatians 3:16, 19). God’s law could not be involved here, for Paul spoke of it as holy, just, and good many years after the cross (Romans 7:7, 12). 4. The Bible says “love is the fulfillment of the law” (Romans 13:10). Matthew 22:37–40 commands us to love God and to love our neighbors, ending with the words, "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Do these commands replace the Ten Commandments? No. The Ten Commandments hang from these two commands as our 10 fingers hang from our two hands. They are inseparable. Love to God makes keeping the first four commandments (which concern God) a pleasure, and love toward our neighbor makes keeping the last six (which concern our neighbor) a joy. Love fulfills the law by taking away the drudgery of mere obedience and by making law-keeping a delight (Psalm 40:8). When we truly love a person, honoring his or her requests becomes a joy. Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). It is impossible to love the Lord and not keep His commandments, because the Bible says, “This is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3). “He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:4). 5. Doesn’t 2 Corinthians 3:7 teach that the law engraved in stone was to be done away? No. The passage says that the “glory” of Moses’ ministration of the law was to be done away, but not the law. Read the whole passage of 2 Corinthians 3:3–9 carefully. The subject is not the doing away with the law or its establishment, but rather, the change of the location of the law from tables of stone to the tables of the heart. Under Moses’ ministration the law was on stones. Under the Holy Spirit’s ministration, through Christ, the law is written upon the heart (Hebrews 8:10). A rule posted on a school bulletin board becomes effective only when it enters a student’s heart. Likewise, keeping God’s law becomes a delight and a joyful way of living because the Christian has true love for both God and man. 6. Romans 10:4 says that “Christ is the end of the law.” So it has ended, hasn’t it? “End” in this verse means purpose or object, as it does in James 5:11. The meaning is clear. To lead men to Christ—where they find righteousness—is the goal, purpose, or end of the law. 7. Why do so many people deny the binding claims of God's law? "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His" (Romans 8:7–9). 8. Were the righteous people of the Old Testament saved by the law? No one has ever been saved by the law. All who have been saved in all ages have been saved by grace. This “grace … was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began” (2 Timothy 1:9). The law only points out sin. Christ alone can save. Noah “found grace” (Genesis 6:8); Moses found grace (Exodus 33:17); the Israelites in the wilderness found grace (Jeremiah 31:2); and Abel, Enoch, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and many other Old Testament characters were saved “by faith” according to Hebrews 11. They were saved by looking forward to the cross, and we, by looking back to it. The law is necessary because, like a mirror, it reveals the “dirt” in our lives. Without it, people are sinners but are not aware of it. However, the law has no saving power. It can only point out sin. Jesus, and He alone, can save a person from sin. This has always been true, even in Old Testament times (Acts 4:10, 12; 2 Timothy 1:9). 9. Why worry about the law? Isn’t conscience a safe guide? No! The Bible speaks of an evil conscience, a defiled conscience, and a seared conscience—none of which is safe. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12). 可悲的是，太多的人听了却从来不查考真理，而撒但继续成功使基督徒无知地违反上帝的诫命。据说美国著名布道家比利·格雷厄姆承认了安息日的真理，但他却说，“如果我传授这个真理，恐怕会失去我大多数的听众和追随者。” 耶稣说，我们既当遵守又当教导上帝的律法，一个人不管得付出什么代价都绝对不能牺牲真理。仇敌竭尽全力地去阻止人们教导或相信安息日的真理，并继续竭尽所能地去迷惑人，使人们对这项重要的真理一无所知。 基督徒既知道撒但这样做了，就应该意识到这是与他们息息相关和极其重要的真理。否则的话，魔鬼就不会费尽心思地特意攻击安息日的真理了。 许多人说，安息日修改为星期日是为了纪念耶稣复活。也有人说，包括安息日在内的十条诫命已被耶稣钉在了十字架上，都废除了。有人则会告诉你说，只要你坚守一天，任何一天都可以作为安息日。 还有人说，只要你尽力去荣耀上帝，就等于你已经遵守了安息日一样。然而还有些人会说，提倡人遵守安息日是律法主义，是靠行为得救的。 最糟糕的是，有人说，十诫已经消失或变得无效了。这可是最大的谎言之一，而且近几十年来居然变得越来越流行。我们永远不能低估仇敌缓慢而巧妙地将异端带入教会的能力，并使那些最符合圣经的教导被错误地贴上邪教或律法主义的标签。 很明显，撒但总是以最具迷惑性的谎言来攻击真理。可悲的是，他毫不费力就能找到可以欺骗的对象了，他能轻而易举地完成他的任务。实际上，流行的理论肯定不是真理。反之，真理从来都不是流行于世人中间的。 十条诫命给我们定义了何为罪，而遵守安息日是十诫之一条。难道撒但不想全力攻击这一条最容易攻击的诫命，并尽其所能地去阻止人们承认或教导它吗？他一旦得逞，就可以让许多人生活在无法无天，无道德准绳约束的状态之中了。 如果一个人真心研究这项真理，并用公正的历史记载来查证的话，实际上他会发现撒但已经达到了这个目标，而且他的谎言还在继续扩张。由于大多数基督徒鲜少研究圣经，而倾向于依赖他们牧师来告诉他们什么是真理，因此谎言只会继续蔓延开来。 安息日的意义何在？ 安息日有其重大的意义。创造主以“当纪念”这三个词来开始第四条诫命。这是因为上帝知道它会被人遗忘。上帝把第七日安息日分别为圣，并且赐福于这一日，这样我们就可以在这一天亲近祂，领受祂满满的福分。 出埃及记 20： 8-11 8 “当记念安息日，守为圣日。9 六日要劳碌作你一切的工，10 但第七日是向耶和华你上帝当守的安息日。这一日你和你的儿女、仆婢、牲畜，并你城里寄居的客旅，无论何工都不可作，11 因为六日之内，耶和华造天、地、海和其中的万物，第七日便安息，所以耶和华赐福与安息日，定为圣日。 记住，第四条诫命是十诫中最重要的一部分，它给我们阐明了人与上帝之间的关系，以及我们应当如何去爱、纪念和敬拜我们的创造主，并与祂建立个人关系。 可见撒但多么仇恨上帝和祂神圣的律法。他揭尽所能地去影响我们对安息日的重视，导致我们轻视、逃避安息日，并给自己找借口来忘记安息日。圣经的安息日是从星期五日落开始，直到星期六日落为止。 对那些心甘情愿遵守上帝安息日的信徒而言，这一日是一个祝福的日子，也是他们一周中最喜爱、最期待的日子。我们在这一日可与家人、教友并天父和祂儿子相交和团契，享受美好时光。 耶稣说，我们不仅要遵守安息日，还要教导人遵守安息日的真理。可惜有些人却在做相反的事。他们从真心顺从上帝的人手中夺取耶稣要给他们的祝福，阻止他们蒙恩，还把安息日说成律法主义和靠行为得救之说。 这种做法与上帝的旨意完全相反。上帝说，这是充满福气和喜乐的一天，而不是律法主义或负担。 以赛亚书 58：13-14 13 “你若在安息日掉转（或作“谨慎”）你的脚步，在我圣日不以操作为喜乐，称安息日为可喜乐的，称耶和华的圣日为可尊重的，而且尊敬这日，不办自己的私事，不随自己的私意，不说自己的私话，14 你就以耶和华为乐。耶和华要使你乘驾地的高处，又以你祖雅各的产业养育你。”这是耶和华亲口说的。 守安息日的诫命与其他九条诫命一样，都是建立在爱的基础上的。它和前面三条诫命相似，都是指示人如何爱上帝的，其余六条则是指示我们如何爱我们的同胞。 我们知道，遵守十条诫命相等于爱上帝，因为圣经在申命记第5章讲完了十诫之后，接下来的第6章就提醒我们说： 申命记 6：5 你要尽心、尽性、尽力爱耶和华你的上帝。 我们当如何爱上帝呢？就是顺服祂，遵守刚刚在上一章所提到的十条诫命。因此，全部十条诫命都是永恒不变的。我们的上帝不是混乱的上帝，也不是随意改变主意的上帝。 不管我们给出什么理由都好，只要我们企图证明上帝的安息日已经更改或废除，我们就是与上帝敌对的，就好像我们为了干犯其他的诫命而找借口一样，比如拜偶像、杀人等。 讽刺的是，那些宣称上帝的律法已经废除或不必再遵守的人，当你问他说，我们是否不可杀人，是否应当孝敬父母，是否不能拜偶像等等，他们就都完全同意。 但是当我们问到第四条守安息日的诫命的时候，他们就会搬出所有的借口，千方百计地否认安息日的有效性。这岂不是自相矛盾的最高境界吗？安息日也是十条诫命的其中一条啊。 雅各书说，若犯了一条，就等于犯了众条。所以我们不能只取自己喜欢守的而撇弃我们不喜欢遵守的。 他们就说，安息日和摩西律法一并在十字架上终止了，所以我们现在可以不守。这是极其错谬的想法。摩西的仪文律法和上帝的道德律法根本就是两回事。 仪文律法是暂时性的，指向那将来的救主；道德律法则是刻在石版上的，代表的是永恒不变的法则。安息日是在道德律法的十条诫命之中，而不是在摩西的仪文律法中。所以我们千万不要把它们俩混为一谈。 再说，摩西的仪文律法是给犹太人的，而十条诫命则是给天下所有信徒的。所以明显的是，十诫里的安息日不仅仅是给犹太人遵守的，而是给所有愿意相信上帝的人遵守的。 其实安息日就是上帝的日子，是耶和华的圣日，所以没有人能说安息日只是为犹太人设立的。正如出埃及记 20：10和申命记 5：14所说的一样： 出埃及记 20：10 “但第七日是向耶和华你上帝当守的安息日。” 申命记 5：14 “但第七日是向耶和华你上帝当守的安息日。” 如果你看英皇钦定本的话，这一节直接说：“但第七日是耶和华你上帝的安息日。” 上帝更在出埃及记 31：13和以西结书 20：20 特别提到，安息日是“我的安息日”。 出埃及记 31：13 “你要吩咐以色列人说：‘你们务要守我的安息日...’ ” 以西结书 20：20 且以我的安息日为圣。 对比之下，当提到摩西律法中的年度安息日时，上帝采用一个不同的字眼，说这是她（女字旁的她）的“安息日”，即以色列民的安息日。 何西阿书 2：11 我也必使她的...安息日，并她的一切大会，都止息了。 试想想，如果上帝差派天使来告诉你说，祂爱你，祂甚至差遣了自己的独生儿子来为你而死，祂想在祂所特别赐福和分别为圣的日子与你共度好时光，那么你会不会打发天使回去告诉上帝说：“对不起，上帝。那一日对我来说实在很不方便”，或说， “不，上帝，我不能在你的圣日与你共度好时光，因为那是律法主义”，抑或说，“你回去告诉上帝，我不要祂所选的那日子作为圣安息日，我自己选择的是星期日，外邦人用以敬拜太阳神的日子，就是上帝最憎恶的日子。” 希望大家认真思考一下，我们要顺服上帝，还是要方便自己。我们要随从上帝完美的旨意，还是随从自己自私的意念？换句话说，我们敬拜的是创造主真神上帝，抑或是我们自己？ 安息日对上帝为什么如此重要？ 现在我们来谈一谈，安息日对上帝为什么如此重要？我们已经晓得，上帝要叫安息日成为一个祝福的日子，叫我们在这一日得到休息、恢复、和喜乐。那么安息日对上帝而言还有什么其他关键的重要性呢？ 我刚才提到，很多人明白作假见证、偷盗、杀人、奸淫，拜偶像等在道德上都是错误的。但撒但之所以如此成功地叫这么多人远离安息日的真理，是因为他很容易说服群众，使他们认为安息日并不是那么重要的。他们违犯安息日时不会觉得在道德上有什么不对。 他们完全受迷惑了，以至没有意识到其实第四条诫命的安息日与其他九条同样重要，都有同样的分量，甚至更高。 所以我们不能根据自己的想法和感觉而行，而必须随从上帝的话语，看看祂是否认为安息日重要。如果对上帝重要的话，那么对我们来说就肯定是重要的。 圣经说，违背律法就是罪。不管你所违背的是哪一条诫命都好，都是犯罪。说白一点，拜假神、杀人、和干犯安息日都是一样严重的。而且人类犯罪是耶稣为我们死在十字架上的原因，相信没有比这个更严重的了。 下面我们来看几段经文，以明白安息日对上帝的重要性。 出埃及记 31：13-17 13 “你要吩咐以色列人说：‘你们务要守我的安息日，因为这是你我之间世世代代的证据，使你们知道我耶和华是叫你们成为圣的。... 15 六日要作工，但第七日是安息圣日，是向耶和华守为圣的；凡在安息日作工的，必要把他治死。’16 故此，以色列人要世世代代守安息日为永远的约。17 这是我和以色列人永远的证据，因为六日之内耶和华造天地，第七日便安息舒畅。” 以西结书 20：12 又将我的安息日赐给他们，好在我与他们中间为证据，使他们知道我耶和华是叫他们成为圣的。 以西结书 20：20 且以我的安息日为圣。这日在我与你们中间为证据，使你们知道我是耶和华你们的上帝。 安息日是一个证据，一个特别的记号，显明我们是上帝的子民，而祂是我们的上帝，并且祂也是使我们成圣的上帝。安息日特别指出我们所爱的，所敬拜的和所效忠的，就是那位赐安息日的真神上帝。 所以随意选择另一日来代替安息日的人就没有这个印记在他们身上。更糟糕的是，当星期日法令来到时，所有服从和接受美国教会联合政府所推出的星期日敬拜的人，都会领受启示录所警告的兽印记，因为星期日是效忠兽制度和他们的三位一体神的证据，就如安息日是效忠独一真神上帝的证据一样。 这就是为什么不守安息日的人总会掉进撒但一个又一个的圈套之中，而走在背道和灭亡之路上。问题是，有谁会选择拒绝上帝的印记而接受撒但的印记呢？这是我们每个人都必须做出的重大决择。 有些人就狡辩说，没错，安息日是个证据，但是这是给以色列民族的证据，与我们毫无相干。这种说法在某种意义上是正确的，安息日的确是给上帝的以色列民的记号。但是我们必须搞清楚，谁才是上帝的以色列民？ 我们必须分清楚圣经所论到的两组以色列民，第一组是属肉体的以色列民。 哥林多前书 10：18 你们看属肉体的以色列人，那吃祭物的岂不是在祭坛上有份吗？ 第二组是属灵的以色列民。 加拉太书 6：16 凡照此理而行的，愿平安、怜悯加给他们和上帝的以色列民。 属肉体的以色列民就是那些天生有犹太血统的人。属灵的以色列民则是任何接受基督，属于基督并活在新约之下的人。绝大多数的基督徒不明白这个道理。他们一口咬定以色列民只能是犹太人，这样他们就错过了这美好的福分，也就不能活在新约之下了。 上帝给犹太人定了490年的宽容时期，让他们悔改归回上帝，但他们一再拒绝祂，从公元前457年一直到公元34年，当年司提反被犹太人拿石头打死而成为第一位福音的殉道者，而犹太人从此就不再是上帝的选民了。他们失去了成为上帝子民的福分，于是福音便开始传给外邦人。论到现今属灵的以色列民，我们再来看几段相关的经文。 罗马书 2：28-29 28 因为外面作犹太人的，不是真犹太人；外面肉身的割礼，也不是真割礼。29 惟有里面作的，才是真犹太人；真割礼也是心里的，在乎灵，不在乎仪文。这人的称赞不是从人来的，乃是从上帝来的。 罗马书 9：6-8 这不是说上帝的话落了空，因为从以色列生的，不都是以色列人；7 也不因为是亚伯拉罕的后裔，就都作他的儿女；惟独“从以撒生的，才要称为你的后裔。”8 这就是说，肉身所生的儿女不是上帝的儿女；惟独那应许的儿女才算是后裔。 加拉太书 3：28-29 28并不分犹太人、希腊人、自主的、为奴的，或男或女，因为你们在基督耶稣里都成为一了。29 你们既属乎基督，就是亚伯拉罕的后裔，是照着应许承受产业的了。 希伯来书 8:10 主又说：“那些日子以后，我与以色列家所立的约乃是这样：我要将我的律法放在他们里面，写在他们心上；我要作他们的上帝，他们要作我的子民。 既然安息日标志着我们是上帝的儿女，那如果我们拒绝祂的安息日，不就等于拒绝上帝为我们的父吗？既然安息日是上帝使我们成圣的标志，那如果我们拒绝他的安息日，不也就等于拒绝让祂使我们成圣吗？ 其实上帝对我们的要求一点都不过分，仅仅是一个星期的七分之一，单单一日而已。我们还有其他六个世俗的日子可以从事我们属世的事务。 造物主要求我们献上一周之中的一日难道不合理吗？许多基督徒声称自己全心全意地爱上帝，但大多数人如何表现出爱来呢？他们嘴上说着只要爱上帝就够了，不需要守安息日，但是上帝吩咐我们当如何爱祂呢？就是服从祂的命令，遵守祂的诫命。 七字代表完美，这是我们一周有七天的原因。上帝的旨意和计划都是完美的，都是对我们最有益的。问题是，我们愿不愿意服从祂，还是选择随从人类的传统，给出许多借口来拒绝上帝的安息日呢？ 每当有人选择找出 1001 个借口中的一个时，可想上帝会是多么伤心呢！难道上帝不知道我们的心吗？如果我们找这些借口之一，上帝会不会知道？上帝知不知道我们因为不想给自己造成不便而不想学习祂圣日的真理呢？ 如果我们找出 1001 个借口之其中一个来违背上帝的话语，那么我们还可以说我们全心全意地爱上帝吗？如果我们不全心爱上帝，那么上帝会接纳我们进入祂的国度吗？ 不守安息日有哪些后果？ 下面我们来说说一个非常严肃的课题，就是不守安息日将给我们带来什么后果？ 雅各书 2：10 因为凡遵守全律法的，只在一条上跌倒，他就是犯了众条。 雅各书说得很清楚，我们若犯了安息日就等于犯了全部诫命，因为第四条诫命和其余九条是一整套的，我们不能把他们逐一分开来，另当别论。 如果我们必须遵守第七日安息日才算守全律法的话，那么绝大多数的基督徒岂不是都违背了上帝的律法吗？ 没错，事实就是如此。这也许让人难以接受，但是他们确实公然拒绝了上帝的诫命。难怪圣经告诉我们说： 马太福音 7：13-14 13 “你们要进窄门。因为引到灭亡，那门是宽的，路是大的，进去的人也多；14 引到永生，那门是窄的，路是小的，找着的人也少。” 大家回顾一下挪亚方舟的故事。挪亚传了120年，警告人说，毁灭世界的洪水即将到来，人类必须进入上帝所预备的方舟里去才能逃过浩劫。 结果最后得救的只有挪亚一家八口。耶稣说，人子降临的日子也是如此。每一个时代都是这样，愿意悔改接受真理而得救的人，总是少之又少。 先知何西阿也预言了上帝的子民会因无知而灭亡，他接着解释说，他们摒弃了与上帝律法相关的知识。 何西阿书 4：6 我的民因无知识而灭亡。你弃掉知识，我也必弃掉你，使你不再给我作祭司。你既忘了你上帝的律法，我也必忘记你的儿女。 这些人既然离弃上帝，拒绝祂的律法，那么他们的后果会是如何呢？上帝也必拒绝他们。大家想想看，今时今日世上有多少人拒绝了上帝的律法，特别是第四条安息日诫命呢？ 希伯来书 10：26-29 26 因为我们得知真道以后，若故意犯罪，赎罪的祭就再没有了，27 惟有战惧等候审判和那烧灭众敌人的烈火。28 人干犯摩西的律法，凭两三个见证人尚且不得怜恤而死；29 何况人践踏上帝的儿子，将那使他成圣之约的血当作平常，又亵慢施恩的圣灵，你们想，他要受的刑罚该怎样加重呢？ 希伯来书告诉我们说，没有任何牲祭能掩盖有意的犯罪，故意犯罪的人就好比把上帝的儿子踩在脚下似的。他们践踏了上帝的恩典和耶稣的牺牲。将来耶稣会对这等人说，“你们这些作恶的人，离开我去吧，我不认识你们。” 因此，拒绝遵守安息日和公然违背上帝的律法而又不肯悔改的后果是相当严重的。我们可能会失去天国和永生的盼望。再说，美好和谐的天国也容不下一个叛逆的人，否则新天新地又会出现另一个撒但了。 【钦定本】启示录 22：14-15 14 那些遵行他诫命的有福了，他们有权去到生命树那里，也能从门进城。15 外面有那些犬类、行邪术的、淫乱的、杀人的、拜偶像的，并一切喜好说谎、编造谎言的。 相信这里说得够清楚了，唯有遵行上帝诫命的人才能进入圣城。反之，杀人的、淫乱的、拜偶像的、作假见证的，都是违背上帝十条诫命的人。这些人将在城外等候火刑把他们烧灭。 十诫今天仍然适用吗？ 其实上帝的律法是否适用于今天这个问题，只要稍微运用一丁点逻辑就可想而知了。我们只要问自己，现在杀人是否无罪，我们是不是可以敬拜其他神了？如果依然是犯法的话，那么为什么每当论到安息日时，我们就会说上帝的律法已经失效了呢？只要我们一天还必须敬拜上帝，孝敬父母等等，我们也依然必须遵守安息日。 如果像十诫这么重要的律法发生了哪怕是最微小的修改的话，上帝就会以清晰的经文来告诉我们。所以我说，大多数基督徒不会争论十诫中的九诫需不需要遵守，但很多人特别将其中一条扫到地毯下，这种精神是从何而来的呢？答案可想而知。 就上帝而言，否认十诫中任何一条真理只能带来一种结果，而这种结果相信我们没有人会想承受的。 除非有人能找出清晰的经文说明第七日安息日已经修改或废除，否则第四条诫命的安息日与其他九条诫命一样有效。故意违反其中任何一条的后果都是一样的。有没有人相信他们可以随心所欲地杀人，而仍然可以进入上帝的国度呢？大家必须认真思考。 十诫的全部是否仍然有效？难道圣经表明我们可以继续违犯律法、故意犯罪吗？另一点是，我们虽然是因信基督而蒙上帝的恩典得救，但这是继续犯罪的许可证吗？ 耶稣死在十字架上，是为我们的罪付出代价，还是让我们继续活在罪中？同样的，我们必须从圣经中找出答案。圣经如何定义罪？ 约翰一书 3：4 凡犯罪的，就是违背律法；违背律法，就是罪。 罗马书 4：15 因为律法是惹动忿怒的（或作“叫人受刑的”），哪里没有律法，那里就没有过犯。 律法给我们指出罪来，而罪把我们指向救主。如果没有律法，我们就不需要救主了。使徒保罗是不是说我们现在可以随意犯罪了，因为我们活在恩典之下，所以律法已经结束了呢？ 罗马书 6：1-2 1 这样，怎么说呢？我们可以仍在罪中，叫恩典显多吗？2 断乎不可！我们在罪上死了的人岂可仍在罪中活着呢？ 罗马书 6：14-15 14 罪必不能作你们的主，因你们不在律法之下，乃在恩典之下。 15 这却怎么样呢？我们在恩典之下，不在律法之下，就可以犯罪吗？断乎不可！ 活在恩典之下并不代表可以活在罪恶之中。耶稣的牺牲并没有给我们犯罪的自由，这些说法都是为了合理化犯罪而曲解圣经所得出的结论。我们再来看保罗所写的几节经文。 罗马书 3：31 这样，我们因信废了律法吗？断乎不是！更是坚固律法。 罗马书 2：13 原来在上帝面前，不是听律法的为义，乃是行律法的称义。 那么耶稣自己又怎么想呢？祂是不是为了废除律法而来的？ 马太福音 5：17 “莫想我来要废掉律法和先知；我来不是要废掉，乃是要成全。 马太福音 5：18 我实在告诉你们，就是到天地都废去了，律法的一点一画也不能废去，都要成全。 路加福音 16：17 天地废去较比律法的一点一画落空还容易。 圣经说得非常清楚，律法的一点一画都不能废去。所以不要再说耶稣来废除律法，因为这与圣经的教导是完全对立的。 有人可能会说，既然耶稣已成全了律法，我们就不需要再遵守律法了。这是极其错误的解经法。请注意，耶稣在这里把成全一词与废掉一词做个对比。 废掉表示不需要再遵守了，那么成全的意思肯定是相反的。成全的意思实际上是落实或实践，使律法成为完全，让耶稣成为我们遵守律法的榜样。所以这些拒绝律法的理论都是不符合圣经的，都是撒但所启发的。 我们来看看，耶稣是不是说那些违犯十诫的人能进入天国。 马太福音 7：21-23 21 “凡称呼我‘主啊，主啊’的人，不能都进天国；惟独遵行我天父旨意的人，才能进去。22 当那日，必有许多人对我说：‘主啊，主啊，我们不是奉你的名传道，奉你的名赶鬼，奉你的名行许多异能吗？’23 我就明明地告诉他们说：‘我从来不认识你们，你们这些作恶的人，离开我去吧！’” 耶稣在这段经文中严厉地声明，那些故意违背律法之人的结局，是失去天国的福分。他们自称爱耶稣，奉祂的名行许多伟大的神迹。但是他们没有遵行耶稣吩咐他们遵行的最基本的事，就是遵行祂父的旨意。 结果耶稣向他们说：‘我从来不认识你们，你们这些作恶的人，离开我去吧！’。相信没有人愿意落到这样悲惨的下场吧。虽然我们不是因遵守律法而得救，但是不遵守律法的人肯定是不能得救的。天国容不下这些作恶和假冒伪善的人。 约翰一书 2：4 人若说“我认识他”，却不遵守他的诫命，便是说谎话的，真理也不在他心里了。 我们再来看一小段故事，说明遵守律法是通往天国的道路。 马太福音 19：16-19 有一个人来见耶稣说：“夫子（有古卷作“良善的夫子”），我该作什么善事，才能得永生？”17耶稣对他说：“你为什么以善事问我呢？只有一位是善的（有古卷作“你为什么称我是良善的？除了上帝以外，没有一个良善的”）。你若要进入永生，就当遵守诫命。”18 他说：“什么诫命？”耶稣说：“就是不可杀人，不可奸淫，不可偷盗，不可作假见证，19 当孝敬父母，又当爱人如己。” 我们再来看保罗怎么说，违背律法的人怎么在上帝和基督的国里无份。 以弗所书 5：3、5 至于淫乱并一切污秽，或是贪婪，在你们中间连提都不可，方合圣徒的体统。5 因为你们确实地知道，无论是淫乱的，是污秽的，是有贪心的，在基督和上帝的国里都是无份的。有贪心的，就与拜偶像的一样。 可悲的是，作恶犯罪的人是在天国里无份的，这就是残酷的真相。反之，上帝应许我们遵行祂诫命的人就必获得特别的福分，就是有权利进入上帝的国。 【钦定本】启示录 22：14 那些遵行他诫命的有福了，他们有权去到生命树那里，也能从门进城。 那么我们今日是否还需要遵守诫命呢？上面看过了那么多位见证人，答案已经非常清楚地揭晓了，特别是耶稣在马太福音第5章中的谈话。这些真理都是无可争辩的，其他任何的论点都是与基督敌对的。我认为所罗门在传道书 12:13-14中所作出的最后结论很好地总结了这一点。 传道书 12：13-14 13 这些事都已听见了，总意就是敬畏上帝，谨守他的诫命，这是人所当尽的本分（或作“这是众人的本分”）。14 因为人所作的事，连一切隐藏的事，无论是善是恶，上帝都必审问。 敬畏上帝和遵守诫命就是人所当尽的本分。我们还有什么借口说我们不需要遵守安息日呢？ 耶稣和早期教会是否遵守安息日？ 我们需要探讨和厘清的下一个论点，就是耶稣和早期教会是否遵守了安息日？如果安息日是一条永不变更的诫命，那么我们就应该可以找到保罗和早期教会遵守第七日安息日的证据了。 如果可以证明这一点，这将证明安息日从来没有改变或废除。那么我们可以证明这一点吗？当然可以，而且我们确实发现了保罗从小就在犹太会堂里遵守了安息日。 素常的规矩就是一个人素来或一直以来所做的事，而且是没有中断，没有停止的。保罗在建立早期基督教会时有什么素常的规矩或习俗呢？请注意下面的经文，这是论到一个犹太会堂里所发生的事。我们晓得犹太人在整个历史中都没有改变，都在星期六的安息日敬拜，就像他们今天仍然在星期六敬拜一样。 使徒行传 17：1-2 1 保罗和西拉经过暗妃波里、亚波罗尼亚，来到帖撒罗尼迦，在那里有犹太人的会堂。2 保罗照他素常的规矩进去，一连三个安息日，本着圣经与他们辩论， 保罗从小就和犹太人和法利赛人一起长大，他们一直都遵守第七日的安息日，从未改变过。 使徒行传 26：4-5 4 我从起初在本国的民中，并在耶路撒冷，自幼为人如何，犹太人都知道。5 他们若肯作见证，就晓得我从起初是按着我们教中最严紧的教门作了法利赛人。 使徒行传 13：42-44 42 他们出会堂的时候，众人请他们到下安息日再讲这话给他们听。43 散会以后，犹太人和敬虔进犹太教的人多有跟从保罗、巴拿巴的。二人对他们讲道，劝他们务要恒久在上帝的恩中。44 到下安息日，合城的人几乎都来聚集，要听上帝的道。 这是在耶稣被钉死、复活、升天以后，信徒依然遵守第七日安息日的铁证。我们还有一节经文为证。 使徒行传 18：4 每逢安息日，保罗在会堂里辩论，劝化犹太人和希腊人。 其实这不仅是使徒保罗的习俗和榜样，更是耶稣基督的习俗和素常的规矩。而耶稣就是我们完美的榜样。 路加福音 4：16 耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念圣经。 耶稣不仅亲自为我们树立了榜样，在世时遵守了安息日，祂还说祂遵守了祂父的诫命说了很多遍，而且祂从未发表过任何声明，宣称安息日已经在十字架上废除了，祂甚至强调了律法永远不会被废除的永恒事实。 另外，耶稣在提到公元 70 年耶路撒冷遭毁灭时，说了以下这段话。 马太福音 24：20 你们应当祈求，叫你们逃走的时候，不遇见冬天或是安息日。 显然，耶稣的死并不能把安息日毁掉，祂依然非常注重和强调安息日的有效性和重要性。 根据圣经记载，安息日是哪一天？ 我们之前稍微谈到，圣经里的安息日无疑就是每周的第七日，即从星期五日落至星期六日落为止。相信大家都同意这一点。 先前我发过了一辑视频，列出了好几个证明安息日是哪一天的有力证据，题名为《圣经里的安息日是哪一天？》。要看清楚这课题的朋友们必须认真看看。 现在我们就从敌基督制度，罗马天主教的角度来探讨一下，看看他们怎么论到真正的安息日是哪一天。 以下这些天主教的声明回答了为什么大多数教会现今仍然将星期日定为安息日。大多数基督徒不知道这项事实，更不知道安息日的改变是如何发生的。 启示录 13 章告诉我们，撒但将他的地位和权柄交给了天主教。为什么呢？为了让这个堕落的巴比伦教会将安息日改为星期日，这是撒但最大的阴谋诡计。 撒但为什么要这么做呢？安息日是关乎我们效忠谁的问题。如果我们顺服上帝并遵守祂的安息日为圣，那就表示我们效忠上帝。 如果我们遵守天主教的诫命或遵守他们所制定的日子为圣，那么我们效忠的会是谁呢？下面我引述了天主教的两段言论来回答这个问题。 圣经是否支持安息日改为星期日的说法？ “大多数基督徒认为星期日是圣经认可的敬拜日。 天主教抗议说，是她将基督教崇拜从圣经中的安息日（星期六）转移到了星期日，而且若试图争辩说圣经记录了这种改变，这是不诚实的，也是对天主教权威的否定。 如果改革教想把它的教义建立在唯独圣经上，它就应该在星期六敬拜。” ——《罗马的挑战》2003年12月 “例如，我们在圣经中没有任何地方发现基督或使徒下令将安息日从星期六改为星期日。 我们有上帝给摩西的诫命，要守安息日为圣，也就是一周的第七日，星期六。 今天，大多数基督徒都遵守星期日，因为它是由［罗马天主］教会在圣经之外向我们揭示的。” ——《天主教弗吉尼亚人》，1947 年 10 月 3 日，第 9 页，文章“告诉你真相”。 他们非常大胆地承认说，把上帝的安息日从第七日改为第一日不是圣经所指示的，而是天主教因自己的权威而擅自做出的改变。她还给基督教发出挑战说，他们要是想遵照圣经的话语而行，那他们就应该遵守星期六的安息日为圣，而不是天主教的星期日了。 所以这很清楚，上帝从未认可安息日的更改。那是敌基督者所干的好事。这是无可争辩的事实。问题是，我们效忠的是哪一方？再来看几段引言，看看他们还有什么话想说的。 谁叫星期日成为圣日？ “也许教会所做过的最大胆的事情，最具革命性的改变，发生在第一世纪。 安息圣日从星期六改为星期日。 “主日”被拣选，不是因为圣经中的任何指示，而是因（天主）教会对其自身权威的感觉...... 认为圣经应该是唯一权威的人，在逻辑上应该成为基督复临安息日会信徒，并遵守星期六为圣。” ——《圣凯瑟琳教会哨兵报》，密歇根州阿尔戈纳克，1995 年 5 月 21 日。 再来看看这一段摘自天主教要理问答书中的引言。 “问：安息日是哪一天？ “答：星期六是安息日。 “问：为什么我们遵守星期日而不是星期六？ “答：我们遵守星期日而不是星期六，因为天主教会在老底嘉会议（公元 364 年）中将安息日的神圣庄严从星期六转移到了星期日。” ——彼得葛依尔曼（Peter Geiermann），《皈依者的天主教要理问答》，第 50 页，第 3 版，1957 年。 星期日是谁的礼拜日？ 所以我们越看越明，星期日不是敬拜上帝的日子，而是谁的礼拜日呢？天主教的，你守星期日就表示你承认天主教高于圣经的权威，并且效忠她的权威。这是个非常严重的罪状。难怪圣经说，在末时全地的人都要跟从那兽，并且要敬拜龙。再看一些引言。 “他们（新改革教徒）认为他们有责任遵守星期日为圣。 为什么？ 因为天主教吩咐他们这样做。 他们没有其他理由…… 因此，遵守星期日成为一项与遵守安息日的神圣律法完全不同的教会法规…… 星期日法规的制定者……是天主教。” ——《教会评论》，1914 年 2 月。 “我要好好提醒长老会、浸信会、卫理公会和所有其他基督徒，圣经在任何地方都不能支持他们遵守星期日。 星期日是罗马天主教的制度，遵守这一日的人是在遵守天主教的一条诫命。” ——布雷迪di2神父，1903 年 3 月 18 日在新泽西州伊丽莎白的新闻报道中发表的讲话。 我们通过遵守星期日为圣来崇敬谁？ 因此，我们通过遵守星期日为圣来崇敬谁？下面几段引言再次为我们确认了这一事实。 “是天主教……为了纪念我们主的复活，把这安息日的时间转移到了星期日。 因此，改革教徒遵守星期日是他们不由自主地向（天主）教会的权威所致的一种敬意。” ——路易·塞古尔主教，《关于今日改革教会的实话》，第 213 页。 “我曾多次向任何人悬赏 Enright）, 堪萨斯城救赎学院院长，1884 年 2 月 18 日在堪萨斯州哈特福德的一次演讲中，发表于《安息日历史》，第 802 页。 我们已经再三确认，遵守星期日实际上是对天主教表示至高的敬意和绝对的顺从。我们若要效忠上帝的话，就必须遵守祂的安息日。 谁真正修改了安息日？ 现在我们来谈一谈，真正修改安息日的是谁。我们都知道，从表面上看似是天主教修改了安息日，并且迷惑世人去遵守这个虚假的安息日。但是其幕后真正的势力或主谋其实是谁呢？ 可想而知，就是路锡甫，魔鬼本身。耶稣在世时，魔鬼阻止上帝儿子的企图以失败告终，于是他把注意力转向了教会。他最初试图通过逼迫杀害所有的基督徒来摧毁教会，但殉道只会让教会成长得更快，变得更强大。 撒但意识到自己可以从教会内部发起渗透攻击，因为由内攻击比由外攻击来得更有效。 因此，撒但赋予教皇他的权力和地位，也渗透了所有的基督教派，使他们重新接受天主教所有的谬论。这样他就能从每一个基督教派中获得敬拜了。 安息日标志着我们对真神的崇拜和效忠，是我们与上帝之间的印记。因此，撒但也想搞一个能证明世人效忠他自己的标志，于是就以他自己的敬拜之日来取代上帝的圣日。 撒但利用教皇作为他的代理人，将上帝的第七日安息日转移到纪念异教太阳神崇拜的一天，因此异教徒称之为星期日。撒但也知道太阳神崇拜是上帝所憎恶的，也是上帝让祂的子民落入巴比伦人手中的原因之一。 毫无疑问，撒但对这项成就感到兴奋不已，因为他成功让基督徒违犯上帝的律法、不履行安息日的遵守、并通过拒绝上帝的崇拜日来接受撒但的崇拜日并支持太阳神崇拜，而进一步激怒了上帝。 我们必须晓得古巴别塔最早的假敬拜，就是藉着在星期日敬拜三位一体太阳神来敬拜藏在幕后的撒但。所以三位一体太阳神和拜太阳神的日子星期日是分不开的。 我们不管是在星期日敬拜，或敬拜三位一体神，都等于参与了撒但的崇拜，而违犯了上帝的首四条诫命，也破坏了安息日的神圣意义。 话说回来，大多数人缺乏深入查考安息日的真理，就以为星期日是正确的圣日，这种概念造成了一种思维定势，由于他们从小到大的成长习惯，遇到任何不同的道理就会感觉不对，感觉很陌生。 这就是撒但从一开始施行的诡计。可悲的是，他非常成功，因为谬论总是流行世间的，是容易为世人所接受的，所以看似大多数人都明白真理，但事实却恰恰相反。 现在就是我们基督徒该睡醒，停止受迷惑催眠的时候了，我们必须意识到撒但的作为，并且从他的谬论中逃出来，从巴比伦和堕落的教会中间出来，回归独一真神上帝和祂的真安息日，承认上帝的创造和祂的权威，并遵行祂的律法。 安息日从创世到永恒 我们现在来谈一谈安息日的根源。安息日实际上自创世以来就存在了。上帝设立了一周七日循环的制度，并且命定了第七日为安息圣日。这就是为什么我们今天一周有七日的原因。 上帝除了在第七日安息之外，还赐福于这一日，并把它定为圣日，以作圣洁的用途使用。 创世纪 2：3 上帝赐福给第七日，定为圣日，因为在这日上帝歇了他一切创造的工，就安息了。 这是在罪还没进入世界之前就已经完善的制度，而且是上帝完美计划的一部分。可见安息日从世界的起头就存在了，并且到了新天新地也依然继续存在。先知以赛亚在以赛亚书 66:22-23 中预言说： 以赛亚书 66：22-23 22 耶和华说：“我所要造的新天新地，怎样在我面前长存，你们的后裔和你们的名字也必照样长存。 23 每逢月朔、安息日，凡有血气的必来在我面前下拜。这是耶和华说的。 经文讲得非常清楚，安息日从创世到万象更新都依然存在，并且一样是作为创造主与受造的人类之间立约的证据。以赛亚书的经文也证明了耶稣没有废掉安息日。我们在新天地里依然会遵守安息日。 说白了，不想遵守安息日的人就是不想进入新天新地。我们若想享受新天地的荣美生活，就必须在今生就开始守安息日了。朋友，你想在新天新地里有份吗？ 我再次强调，安息日与其他九条诫命一样都是永不变更的，从创世之初一直到永恒，皆是如此。 在进入新天新地之前，我们依然要经历最后兽印记的大逼迫，唯有靠着耶稣的力量忍耐到底，并且得胜，才能获得摆在我们前头的赏赐。请注意圣经怎么论到这些得胜的圣徒。 启示录 14：12 圣徒的忍耐就在此，他们是守上帝诫命和耶稣真道的。 圣徒是守上帝诫命，包括安息日的。试问不守安息日的人能成为圣徒吗？明显不能，他们都会在星期日法令的逼迫和考验中妥协，而归向敌基督的势力，成为逼迫上帝子民的一群人。 撒但将利用不守律法的人去除灭坚守上帝律法的人。正如历史上所发生过的一样，历史必定重演。 启示录 12：17 龙向妇人发怒，去与她其余的儿女争战，这儿女就是那守上帝诫命，为耶稣作见证的。那时龙就站在海边的沙上。 撒但在可怕的1260年的黑暗时期中逼迫上帝的子民，并且追杀那原始教会的余民，企图把他们赶尽杀绝。撒但为什么对他们恨之入骨，势必消灭他们呢？ 因为他们是上帝忠心的子民，他们谨守上帝的诫命。这里说得很清楚，撒但只与守上帝诫命的人争战，那些不守诫命的人都是属于撒但的，他自然不必去针对他们。大家难道还无法看清事实吗？我们难道还相信上帝的诫命不重要吗？ 我们应该渴望安息日的真理 如果您知道了耶稣从来没有提过一周的第一日，您会感到惊讶吗？祂没有说过安息日改变了，也没有说过祂复活的日子要变成新的安息日，或任何类似的话语。 作为基督徒，我们应该永远谦卑地追求真理，因为耶稣本身就是真理。如果我们全心全意地爱耶稣，我们自然会不惜一切代价地努力寻求真理。 然而，这么多人说着这么多不同的话，每一位传道人和教会领导各说纷纭，各自推广各自的真理。那么我们怎么能确切地辨认出真理呢？我们只有一个保障，一个可寻见真理的管道，那就是上帝所默示的话语——圣经。 以赛亚书 8：20 人当以训诲和法度为标准，他们所说的若不与此相符，必不得见晨光。 圣经永远是我们的最终权威，而不是任何牧师、长老、传道人或朋友。记住，我们要单单遵循上帝的话语，而不是人的传统和教导。 这篇文章不是要涵盖所有关于安息日的真理，因为可以研究和挖掘出来的真理实在太多了。我只想提出一些重要的论点和相关的经文，并且希望大家能看明安息日的重要性，然后有兴趣自行查考圣经，寻求真理。 愿上帝常与每一位同在，赐福大家。 上一篇 返回研究目录 下一篇 到最頂

Would you believe me if I said that a person's spirit is another literal being? After all, a person's spirit can be troubled, Daniel 2:3 “...my spirit was troubled...” And a person's spirit can be grieved, Daniel 7:15 “I Daniel was grieved in my spirit...” And a person's spirit can speak and pray, 1 Corinthians 14:14 “...my spirit prayeth...” And a person's spirit can rejoice, Luke 1:47 “my spirit has rejoiced...” And a person's spirit can be received by the Lord, Acts 7:59 “...Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” A person's spirit can also serve, Romans 1:9 “...I serve with my spirit...” And a person's spirit can also rest, 2 Corinthians 2:13 “I had no rest in my spirit...” So we find that a person's spirit has a mind, will and emotions just like God. Therefore, a person's spirit must be another literal being, right? You are probably thinking I have lost the plot, and yet this is exactly the SAME LOGIC that is used to imply that the Holy Spirit is another literal being! And Paul said it is no different with God's Spirit in that respect. But note Paul states man's spirit is within him while God can send His Spirit anywhere. “For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit WITHIN HIM? In the SAME WAY NO ONE knows the thoughts of God EXCEPT the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:11 Since your Spirit is your mind, will and emotions, the Greek and Hebrew word for “Spirit” also means “mind” as you would expect. Strong's concordance says, breath, figuratively life, spirit, (including its expression and functions), mind. Note below that Paul in Romans 11:34 is quoting Isaiah 40:13. So we know that Paul understood the Spirit of the Lord to also mean the mind of the Lord. And of course the mind of someone is not a different person to them any more than their spirit is and this also includes God as Paul reveals below. “Who has directed the SPIRIT of the LORD, or being his counsellor has taught him?” Isaiah 40:13 KJV “For who has known the MIND of the LORD? Or who has been his counsellor?” Romans 11:34 KJV How can the mind of the Lord be another being? Clearly it cannot! The spirit of every living being has a personality because our spirit is in fact our personality. So the Holy Spirit has a personality because God has a personality. In giving us His Spirit God gives us Himself. It is not another being and it is not some impersonal force. It is the presence and power of God Himself. It is God's own Spirit having God's own personality. “In giving us HIS SPIRIT, God gives us HIMSELF,” — (E.G. White, 7T 273.1, 1902) “The DIVINE SPIRIT that the world's Redeemer promised to send, is the PRESENCE and POWER of GOD.” — (E.G. White, ST, Nov 23, 1891) If I could give you my spirit, whose personality would you have? Mine! Thus God's Spirit has God's personality. God and His Son have a Spirit and that is how “They” represent “Themselves” where they are not personally present. This is the nature of the Holy Spirit that we cannot understand. 注意使徒保罗在哥林多前书8:4-6所证实的。千万不要错过这一点。他说：“论到吃祭偶像之物，我们知道偶像在世上算不得什么，也知道神只有一位，再没有别的神。虽有称为神的，或在天、或在地，就如那许多的神，许多的主；然而我们只有一位神，就是父，万物都本于祂；我们也归于祂——并有一位主，就是耶稣基督——万物都是藉着祂有的；我们也是藉着祂有的。” 许多三位一体论者此刻就会说：“啊！这些都没有错。不过，创世记第1章里面的神说到‘我们’，这就表明了一位复数的神。而且耶稣在马太福音28:19也吩咐说，你们要奉父、子、圣灵的名给他们施洗，这也表明了一位复数的神。然后，《英王钦定本圣经》的约翰壹书5:7说：‘在天上作见证的原来有三，就是父、道、与圣灵，这三样也都归于一。’ 那些接受怀爱伦的著作为神所启示的人，可以看看她所写的：“地球和其上的走兽被造齐之后，父和子便施行祂们的谋划，就是在撒但堕落之前已设计好的谋划，以按着祂们自己的形象造人。祂们共同完成了创造地球和其上所有生物的大工。于是这时神就对祂儿子说：‘我们要照着我们的形像，按着我们的样式造人。’“ （怀爱伦著，《高举主耶稣》原文第47页） 说话的神是谁呢？是父上帝。祂对谁说话呢？祂儿子耶稣。这就是创世记1:26中的“我们”了。祂们是父和子，而祂们俩透过父自己神圣的灵而共同创造这个世界，这灵是父与祂儿子所共有的灵。我们稍后会查考《圣经》的证据。 我听见一些三位一体论者说：“啊！但是创世记第1章中的神字，希伯来文是ELOHIM，而这个字是复数的，所以神是复数的。” 好，让我们来看看《圣经》中另一节经文，也是用了ELOHIM这个字的。 因为《圣经》告诉我们，独一真神就是父。我们必须注意关于马太福音28:19的一个重点是，如果这一节经文是受神启示的，那么没有一个门徒听从耶稣在这里所吩咐的去行，因为《新约》所记载的洗礼，没有一个是奉父子圣灵的名实施的。《圣经》中所有的洗礼，全都是只奉耶稣的名实施的。你可以自己看看下列这些经文：徒2:38；8:12，16；10:48；19:5；22:16；罗6:3；加3:27。 那么问题仍然是，在马太福音28:19和约翰壹书5:7中所提到的这“三位”究竟是谁呢？有智慧的《圣经》学者应该怎么办呢？去查考《圣经》，让《圣经》自己来诠释自己。就让我们这么做吧！ 启示录的警告：归向独一真神（10之4） 父是谁？ 在马太福音11:25中，我们读到：“那时，耶稣说，父阿，天地的主，我感谢你，因为你将这些事，向聪明通达人，就藏起来，向婴孩，就显出来。” 耶稣证实了父就是天地的主，也就是天使在启示录第14章所指的那一位。 在约翰福音17:1-3，我们读到耶稣祷告说：“认识你独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督，这就是永生。” 耶稣又证实了父是独一的真神。 在约翰福音20:17，我们读到：“耶稣说，不要摸我。因我还没有升上去见我的父。你往我弟兄那里去，告诉他们说，我要升上去，见我的父，也是你们的父。见我的神，也是你们的神。” 耶稣再次证实了上帝就是他的父，他的神，也是我们的父，我们的神。 在哥林多前书8:6，我们读到：“然而我们只有一位神，就是父，万物都本于他，我们也归于他。并有一位主，就是耶稣基督，万物都是借着他有的，我们也是借着他有的。” 保罗也证实了父就是独一的神。 这些还有很多其他的《圣经》经文，都证实了父就是那独一的真神，天地的主。（参阅弗1:17；罗1:7-8；帖前1:9-10；约贰1:3；徒4:24-30；约4:22-24；腓2:11） 启示录的警告：归向独一真神（10之5） 子【道】是谁？ 约翰福音1:14说：“道成了肉身住在我们中间，充充满满的有恩典有真理。我们也见过他的荣光，正是父独生子的荣光。” 在约翰壹书1:3中，我们读到：“我们将所看见，所听见的，传给你们，使你们与我们相交。我们乃是与父并他儿子耶稣基督相交的。” 在马太福音16:15-17中，我们读到：“耶稣说，你们说我是谁。西门彼得回答说，你是基督，是永生神的儿子。耶稣对他说，西门巴约拿，你是有福的。因为这不是属血肉的指示你的，乃是我在天上的父指示的。” 罗马书8:3说：“律法既因肉体软弱，有所不能行的，神就差遣自己的儿子，成为罪身的形状，作了赎罪祭，在肉体中定了罪案。” 现在我们来看父上帝自己怎么说，在耶稣变像的山上：“【当彼得】说这话的时候，有一朵云彩来遮盖他们。他们进入云彩里就惧怕。有声音从云彩里出来，说，这是我的儿子，我所拣选的（有古卷作这是我的爱子），你们要听他。” （路9:34-35） 以上这些经文以及很多其他的经文（例如约3:16；帖前1:9-10；约20:17；约壹5:20；约贰1:3）都表明子或道就是耶稣基督，独一真神父的儿子。 这时许多三位一体论者就会说，”是的，这就是我所相信的。我相信耶稣是上帝的儿子。” 但是许多人没有意识到，三位一体论说，耶稣就是神自己本身，而不是神的亲生儿子。我们稍后会解答约翰福音第1章的问题。 就让我们来探讨《圣经》如何证明耶稣在降世之前乃是父神的真正独生子。一开始，先让我们来建立一个重要的《圣经》原则，这是我们大家都应该遵守的。除了一些先知著作之外，上帝的话是应该按其字面来解读的。譬如，在约翰福音3:16和罗马书8:3中，我们分别读到：“神...将祂的独生子赐给他们”和“神就差遣自己的儿子。”神若要赐下祂儿子，以及差遣祂自己的儿子的话，父神必须有什么，才能赐下和差遣呢？祂首先必须有一个儿子。这是基本的逻辑。我们就是要这样按《圣经》的字面来解读上帝的话语。 就让我们来探讨有关的几节经文。 在弥迦书5:2中，我们有一则预言耶稣要降生世上的预言。看它怎么说：“伯利恒，以法他阿，你在犹大诸城中为小。将来必有一位从你那里出来，在以色列中为我作掌权的。他的根源从亘古，从太初就有。” 如果你看“根源”这个字的希伯来原文的话，你会发现，它的意思是“出于或从...出来。” 那么这则预言就证实了耶稣是在亘古或太初的某一个时间点出于或是从某一样东西出来的。 现在我们来看箴言第8章怎么说。这一章所谈的是智慧，而神学界普遍认为这是指耶稣基督。但我们还是求证一下，使徒保罗在哥林多前书1:24中证实了基督总为神的智慧。 箴言8:23-25说：“从亘古，从太初，未有世界以前，我已被立。没有深渊，没有大水的泉源，我已生出。大山未曾奠定，小山未有之先，我已生出。” 对于接受怀爱伦的先知著作之人，可以看看她就箴言第8章所说的话。“透过所罗门王，基督宣告说，... 没有深渊，没有大水的泉源，我已生出。大山未曾奠定，小山未有之先，我已生出。”（怀爱伦著，《时兆》1900年8月29日） 所以基督透过所罗门和弥迦启示说，父神在亘古太初某一个时间点上尚未创造任何物之前，基督就已从父生出，作祂真正的儿子了。 那么耶稣在《新约》中是否证实了这一点？是的，祂的确证实了这一点。 在约翰福音16:27-28中，我们读到：“父自己爱你们，因为你们已经爱我，又信我是从父出来的。我从父出来，到了世界。我又离开世界，往父那里去。” 在约翰福音17:7-8中，我们又读到： “如今他们知道，凡你所赐给我的，都是从你那里来的。因为你所赐给我的道，我已经赐给他们。他们也领受了，又确实知道，我是从你出来的，并且信你差了我来。” 所以耶稣本身证实了祂是从神出来的。但有人说，耶稣在这里只不过是说祂是从神那里来到这世上的。但这一节不是这样解读的。注意这些经文所证实的清楚次序。耶稣说祂先从父出来，然后到了世界，这是两回不同的事件。 在箴言30:4中，我们也读到：“谁升天又降下来？谁聚风在掌握中？谁包水在衣服里？谁立定地的四极？他名叫什么？他儿子名叫什么？你知道吗？” 所以《圣经》的确清楚地证实，耶稣是在亘古或太初的某个时间点从父出来，成为父的真儿子的。而且在耶稣降世之前，就有人知道神有个儿子了。 看看尼布甲尼撒王看见火窯中的第四位时怎么说：“王说，看哪，我见有四个人，并没有捆绑，在火中游行，也没有受伤。那第四个的相貌好像神子。” （但3:25）连一个异教王也知道神有个儿子。 相信怀爱伦的著作之权威的人，可以看看她在《历代愿望》原文第51页怎么说。她写道：“奉献长子的礼从最早就开始了。上帝曾应许赐下天上“头生的”来拯救罪人。” 你知不知道，在《新约》中父神曾两次从天上大声向人说话？在这两个场合之中，祂又选择说些什么呢？在马太福音3:17中，祂说：“这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。” 祂又在路加福音9:35中说：“这是我的儿子，我所拣选的（有古卷作这是我的爱子），你们要听他。” 神要说什么都可以，但祂却选择在两个场合当中都证实耶稣的确是祂的爱子。如果我们还敢说耶稣不是真的神的亲生儿子，就如三位一体论所教导的那样，那么我们就是说父神说谎了。 启示录的警告：归向独一真神（10之6） 约翰福音1:1是否表明耶稣是神？ 我听见三位一体论者说：“啊，但耶稣在约翰福音第1章和希伯来书第1章被称为神，所以祂一定是神本身，而不是神的真儿子。” 好，就让我们来探讨这两段经文。 在约翰福音1:1-2，我们读道：“太初有道，道与神同在，道就是神。这道太初与神同在。“ 关于这一节有两点我们必须注意的。我们已经表明耶稣是神的亲儿子，在亘古或太初的某个时候为父神所生。那么耶稣作为神自己的儿子，这使耶稣在本性上成为什么呢？神。因为耶稣与祂父有相同的本性，就是神性。就像我有个儿子，我是人，所以我儿子也是人。这就是为什么约翰在约翰福音1:1说耶稣是神的原因，因为祂是神的亲儿子，并与祂父一样有相同的本性。 这个字呢？一是在创世记第1章中天地万物的起源。还有就是箴言8:23的太初，就是在万物被造之前，当神的智慧基督被立的时候。约翰在这里证实耶稣在太初未造天地万物以前就与神同在，表明耶稣从亘古以来真的是神的儿子。而且在约翰福音第1章的希腊原文中，我们发现一个字，是在翻译中遗漏的。这个字使整节的意思完全改变。这个字在英文版本中被省略了。【编按：中文版本也没有】在希腊文中，这一节是这样读的：“太初有道，道与【定冠词：这位】神同在，而道是神。“ 希腊文说，在太初，基督与这位神同在。我们从约翰福音17:3和哥林多前书8：6还有其他经文中知道，父神是这位独一真神。祂就是耶稣在太初与祂同在的那一位，是祂的父，这位独一真神。 启示录的警告：归向独一真神（10之7） 希伯来书1:8是否表明耶稣是神？ 现在我们来探讨希伯来书第1章。这个很有意思，因为三位一体论者经常只爱断章取义地挑出一小节经文，把它从上下文的语境分开来。就让我们来看他们所用的经文，并且看清其上下文的语境。 在希伯来书1:8中，我们读道：“论到子却说，神阿，你的宝座是永永远远的，你的国权是正直的。” 那么三位一体论者就偏偏挑出这单独一节经文来，然后说：“你看，耶稣是神诶！” 但我们现在来看看这一节经文恰当的上下文语境。 希伯来书1:1-9说：“神既在古时借着众先知，多次多方的晓谕列祖，就在这末世，借着他儿子晓谕我们，又早已立他为承受万有的，也曾借着他创造诸世界。他是神荣耀所发的光辉，是神本体的真像，常用他权能的命令托住万有，他洗净了人的罪，就坐在高天至大者的右边。他所承受的名，既比天使的名更尊贵，就远超过天使。所有的天使，神从来对那一个说，你是我的儿子，我今日生你。又指着那一个说，我要作他的父，他要作我的子。再者，神使长子到世上来的时候，（或作神再使长子到世上来的时候）就说，神的使者都要拜他。论到使者，又说，神以风为使者，以火焰为仆役。论到子却说，神阿，你的宝座是永永远远的，你的国权是正直的。你喜爱公义，恨恶罪恶。所以神就是你的神，用喜乐油膏你，胜过膏你的同伴。” 哇塞！读整个上下文就能把这一节的正确意义给显明出来了！ 希伯来书第1章明显证实耶稣是神的真实儿子，而不是独一真神本身。在这一段经文中就有很多证据了。经文说：“神...藉着祂儿子晓谕我们”，又 “立祂为承受万有的”，“也曾藉着祂创造诸世界。“ “祂所承受的名...更尊贵。” 经文说：”所有的天使，神从来对哪一个说，你是我的儿子，我今日生你。又指着哪一个说，我要作他的父，他要作我的子。“ 又说：”神使长子到世上来。“ 那么耶稣为什么被称为神呢？理由和祂在约翰福音第1章中被称为神是相同的。祂作为独一真神父的儿子，耶稣与父一样有相同的本性——就是神性。但耶稣本身不是独一真神，因为就如希伯来书1:9说：”所以神就是你的神，用喜乐油膏你。“ 所以耶稣自己也有一位神，就是祂的父。再看保罗在哥林多前书11:3中所证实的：”我愿意你们知道，基督是各人的头。男人是女人的头，神是基督的头。“ 父神是基督的头，所以耶稣在坟墓旁对玛利亚说：”我要升上去，见我的父，也是你们的父。见我的神，也是你们的神。” （约20:17） 这也在以弗所书1:17中得到证实：“求我们主耶稣基督的神，荣耀的父，将那赐人智慧和启示的灵，赏给你们，使你们真知道他。” 使你们真知道谁呢？父神。 现在我们来看提摩太前书2:5，说：“因为只有一位神，在神和人中间，只有一位中保，乃是降世为人的基督耶稣。” 这是基本逻辑。如果耶稣是那一位神与人之间的中保的话，那么耶稣本身就不可能是那一位神了，正如我们已经证实的，父才是那一位真神。（参阅约17:3；林前8:6）所以当我们用上下文来对照经文，而不是断章取义，这里挑一节，那里挑一节的时候，我们就可以看到，耶稣本身不是那独一真神。祂是那独一真神父的真亲儿子。{待续} 启示录的警告：归向独一真神（10之8） 以赛亚书9:6是否表明耶稣是父？ 但是耶稣在以赛亚书9:6中被称为“永在的父”，不是吗？好，就让我们来探讨这一节经文。 “因有一婴孩为我们而生，有一子赐给我们。政权必担在他的肩头上。他名【编按：英文版本有：必或将】称为奇妙，策士，全能的神，永在的父，和平的君。”（赛9:6） 人们老爱拿一节经文，断章取义，把它从《圣经》其余部分切断，然后再把整个道理或教义建立在一两节经文上。这一节经文有没有说耶稣是【现在式】永在的父？没有。经文说祂的名必【未来式】称为永在的父，指着一件将来的事而言。那将是什么事件呢？我们来看另一节经文。在希伯来书5:8-10中，我们读道：“他虽然为儿子，还是因所受的苦难学了顺从。他既得以完全，就为凡顺从他的人，成了永远得救的根源。并蒙神照着麦基洗德的等次称他为大祭司。” 基督在什么时候成了永远得救的根源呢？十字架上。那么以赛亚书9:6所指的事件是什么事件，说明耶稣以后必称为永在的父呢？十字架的事件。在十字架上，耶稣成了凡顺从祂并由祂圣灵重生的人的永生之父。（另外，在启示录21:7中，耶稣说：“得胜的，必承受这些为业，我要作他的神，他要作我的儿子。” 这是指向未来新天新地的事。祂要作那靠着祂的灵得胜之人的父。） 但这并不使耶稣成为父神。《圣经》的其余部分也清楚证明这一点。{待续} 启示录的警告：归向独一真神（10之9） 圣灵是谁或是什么？ 我之前已经说过，你在《圣经》中是找不到一节提到“圣灵神”或“圣灵上帝”的。你会重覆找到的是“神的灵”或“上帝的灵”甚至是“基督的灵。” 《圣经》中希伯来文和希腊文中的“灵”字，意思是“气息”或“思想”。 那就让我们用这个意义来看一看创世记第1章。“起初，神创造天地。地是空虚混沌。渊面黑暗。神的灵运行在水面上。” （创1:1-2） 从希伯来原文直接翻译是：“神的气息、思想、【甚至是】大能” 运行在水面上。 我们已经发现，这里的神是指父。那么这神的灵是否听起来像一个第三位不同的生物（如同三位一体论所教导的）呢？完全不是。 “我看见坐宝座的右手中有书卷，里外都写着字，用七印封严了。我又看见一位大力的天使，大声宣传说，有谁配展开那书卷，揭开那七印呢？在天上，地上，地底下，没有能展开能观看那书卷的。因为没有配展开，配观看那书卷的，我就大哭。长老中有一位对我说，不要哭。看哪，犹大支派中的狮子，大卫的根，他已得胜，能以展开那书卷，揭开那七印。我又看见宝座与四活物并长老之中，有羔羊站立，像是被杀过的，有七角七眼，就是神的七灵，奉差遣往普天下去的。这羔羊前来，从坐宝座的右手里拿了书卷。” 约翰在这里看见了神的充分体现。他是否看见三位不同的神性生物呢？不是的，他只看见两位神性生物，即坐在宝座上的父神，和站立在宝座之中的羔羊耶稣基督。耶稣身上有什么呢？祂有神的灵，就是圣灵。约翰看见圣灵是耶稣本身的一部分。 让我们来看一个代表着这一幕的画面。这里你可以看见基督由一个羔羊来代表。看看基督身上有什么？祂有七角七眼，就是神的灵。这就是圣灵，是基督自己身上的一部分。你看得到吗？这是神在异像中给约翰启示的，而我们在之前的启示录第2章中可以看见这启示。在启示录1:12-16中，我们读道：“我转过身来，要看是谁发声与我说话。既转过来，就看见七个金灯台。灯台中间，有一位好像人子，身穿长衣，直垂到脚，胸间束着金带。他的头与发皆白，如白羊毛，如雪。眼目如同火焰。脚好像在炉中锻炼光明的铜。声音如同众水的声音。他右手拿着七星。从他口中出来一把两刃的利剑。面貌如同烈日放光。” 与约翰说话的那一位是基督。然后在启示录2:1, 7中，我们读道：“你要写信给以弗所教会的使者，说，那右手拿着七星，在七个金灯台中间行走的，说，... 圣灵向众教会所说的话，凡有耳的，就应当听。” 那位在七个教会中间行走并对众教会说话的是谁呢？是人子耶稣基督。祂在这里证实，祂就是那位向众教会说话的圣灵。 在启示录3:1，我们读道：“你要写信给撒狄教会的使者，说，那有神的七灵和七星的，说...” 现在让我们来看其他的《圣经》章节来证实这一点。耶稣在马太福音18:20说了什么？ “因为无论在哪里，有两三个人奉我的名聚会，那里就有我在他们中间.“ 耶稣证实说，祂要亲自在我们中间，与我们同在。（出埃及记33:14说：“我必亲自和你同去。”） 再来看看耶稣在约翰福音第14章中就有关保惠师所说的话：”我要求父，父就另外赐给你们一位保惠师，（或作训慰师下同）叫他永远与你们同在。就是真理的圣灵，乃世人不能接受的。因为不见他，也不认识他。你们却认识他。因他常与你们同在，也要在你们里面。我不撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。还有不多的时候，世人不再看见我。你们却看见我。因为我活着，你们也要活着。到那日，你们就知道我在父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。“ （约14:16-20） 耶稣在这里是否谈到三位神性生物？不是的。祂正证实了父神藉着神自己的灵在基督里面，而基督自己也要在我们里面。 我听见三位一体论者说：”啊！耶稣称保惠师为”他“，用的是第三人称，而且是说另外一位保惠师。“ 好，就让我们探讨这一点。你知不知道，耶稣经常用”第三人称“来指祂自己呢？比如，在约翰福音17:1-2中，耶稣向父祷告说： ”耶稣说了这话，就举目望天说，父阿，时候到了。愿你荣耀你的儿子，使儿子也荣耀你。正如你曾赐给他权柄，管理凡有血气的，叫他将永生赐给你所赐给他的人。“ 那么，耶稣用”他“来指保惠师是否证明这位”他“就是所谓的”第三位生物“呢？完全不能证明。耶稣在约翰福音第17章这里表明，祂其实是指着祂自己而言。 看看约翰福音14:21，耶稣说：“有了我的命令又遵守的，这人就是爱我的。爱我的必蒙我父爱他，我也要爱他，并且要向他显现。” 翻译成“保惠师”的希腊原文parakletos（音译是“帕拉克乐多斯”），在约翰壹书也被提到过一次。若我们看这一节经文，便能明白这位“帕拉克乐多斯”是谁。在约翰壹书2:1中，约翰说：“我小子们哪，我将这些话写给你们，是要叫你们不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保【帕拉克乐多斯】，就是那义者耶稣基督。” 所以耶稣是我们的“帕拉克乐多斯”，即我们的保惠师。 看看彼得在使徒行传2:32-33中启示了什么。他说：“这耶稣，神已经叫他复活了，我们都为这事作见证。他既被神的右手高举，（或作他既高举在神的右边）又从父受了所应许的圣灵，就把你们所看见所听见的，浇灌下来。” 可见耶稣是从父神那里领受了圣灵的。 现在我们来看约翰福音第20章。在耶稣升天见祂父神之后，如祂在坟墓外面所告诉马利亚的话，祂便回到地上，并向门徒显现。在约翰福音20:19-22，我们读：“那日，（就是七日的第一日）晚上，门徒所在的地方，因怕犹太人，门都关了。耶稣来站在当中，对他们说，愿你们平安。说了这话，就把手和肋旁，指给他们看。门徒看见主，就喜乐了。耶稣又对他们说，愿你们平安。父怎样差遣了我，我也照样差遣你们。说了这话，就向他们吹一口气，说，你们受圣灵。” 哇！这是多么地清晰啊！耶稣就是那位有圣灵的，这圣灵是祂从父神手中领受的，因为是神的灵。所以圣灵是基督的同在和能力，也就是祂从父神那里领受的。而保罗也证实，圣灵就是基督的灵。这一点我们可以从保罗的三个章节中看到。 在加拉太书4:6中，保罗说：“你们既为儿子，神就差他儿子的灵，进入你们（原文作我们）的心，呼叫阿爸，父。” 在哥林多后书3:17中，他说：“主就是那灵。主的灵在哪里，哪里就得以自由。” 然后在腓立比书1:19中，他又说：“因为我知道这事借着你们的祈祷，和耶稣基督之灵的帮助，终必叫我得救。” 朋友们，这是何等佳美的真理啊！圣灵不是什么我们所不认识的第三位生物。圣灵就是我们主耶稣基督。圣灵是父神的同在和能力，藉着祂儿子彰显出来。是基督住在我们心里——（弗3:17：“使基督因你们的信，住在你们心里，叫你们的爱心，有根有基。”）是基督在我们里面活着——（加2:20：“我已经与基督同钉十字架。现在活着的，不再是我，乃是基督在我里面活着。”) 是基督在我们心里，就是那赐給我们生命的灵——（罗8:10-11：“基督若在你们心里，身体就因罪而死，心灵却因义而活。然而叫耶稣从死里复活者的灵，若住在你们心里，那叫基督耶稣从死里复活的，也必借着住在你们心里的圣灵，使你们必死的身体又活过来。” “我们要圣灵，就是耶稣基督。” （怀爱伦著，《信函66》1894年4月10日） 没错，人可以欺哄圣灵，也就等于欺哄神，如彼得在使徒行传5:4所证实的。（“你不是欺哄人，是欺哄神了。”）没错，圣灵对我们说话、安慰我们并指导我们。（徒8:29 - “圣灵对腓利说“）那是因为圣灵是父神自己的神圣之灵，就是祂与祂儿子耶稣共有的灵，这一点我们已经从《圣经》证明了。（结36:27 - “我必将我的灵放在你们里面”）所以，如果我们欺哄圣灵，当然也就等于欺哄神自己了，因为圣灵是神自己的灵。如我们从《圣经》上所证明的，那对我们说话、安慰我们、住在我们心里的灵，就是基督祂自己。（启3:1, 6 - “那有神的七灵和七星的，说... 圣灵向众教会所说的话，凡有耳的，就应当听。”) 接受怀爱伦的著作为受神圣启示的信徒，也可以看以下的引言。她说：“那些跪在宝座之前的人常献上祷告并仰望耶稣，随后祂就转脸向祂的父恳求。有一道光从圣父射到圣子身上，再从圣子转到那在祈祷的人群身上。那时我看到一道很明亮的光从圣父射到圣子身上，再从圣子来回照射在那些停在宝座前面的人身上。...那些和耶稣一同站起来的人常使自己的信心达到祂在至圣所的地方，并祈祷说：‘我父啊，求你赐给我们你的灵。’ 这时耶稣便将圣灵吹在他们身上。在祂所吹出的一口气中有亮光、能力和很多仁爱、喜乐、和平。” （怀爱伦著，《早期著作》原文第54-55页） 怀爱伦也说：“接受另一位的灵是不安全的。我们要圣灵，就是耶稣基督。” （怀爱伦著，《信函66》1894年4月10日） “救主是我们的保惠师。我已亲身体验过祂为我的保惠师。” （怀爱伦著，《文稿汇编》第8卷，原文第49页） “由于人性的拖累，基督不能亲自临格在每一个地方；因此，祂若离开门徒，对他们是完全有好处的。祂要离开他们，往祂父那里去，并差遣圣灵来地上作祂的继任者。圣灵是祂自己脱去了人性的位格，并且不必依赖人性位格而独立。祂要代表祂自己，藉着祂的圣灵作为无所不在者，以临格在每一个地方。”（怀爱伦著，《文稿汇编》第14卷，原文第23页） 这些只是怀师母众多引言之中的一小撮，给我们启示圣灵就是耶稣基督，而不是我们所不认识的其他第三位神性生物。 启示录的警告：归向独一真神 （10之10） 结论篇 马太福音28:19和约翰壹书5:7的三位是谁呢？我们已经从《圣经》中提出证据，证明父是独一真神父上帝。子或道是耶稣基督，就是父神的亲儿子。而圣灵则是父自己的神圣之灵，就是祂赐给祂儿子的灵，即是父神的同在和大能，藉着祂儿子耶稣基督彰显出来。这三位不是三位一体神。他们是父上帝，祂儿子耶稣基督，和父上帝自己的神圣之灵，就是祂与祂儿子共有的。 三位是谁？ 1.父神 2.神的儿子耶稣基督 3.神的灵，藉着祂儿子耶稣彰显出来 这为什么重要？ 许多三位一体论者会说：“这为什么重要呢？它真的那么重要吗？” 好，首先， 任何错误的传统必须把它除掉，而真理则必须把它接受。如《圣经》说，叫我们得以自由的，不是传统，而是真理——“真理必叫你们得以自由。” （约8:32）可是耶稣说： “他们将人的吩咐，当作道理教导人，所以拜我也是枉然。” （太15:9） 我们真的不想因为跟随人的传统而拜耶稣拜得枉然。而这个三位一体神的传统，更多的是建立在神话上过于《圣经》真理上，并且是透过淫妇之母天主教而进入各教会的。这神秘的三位一体神不是出于《圣经》的。它是出于异教传统，所以在许多异教神庙裡你都可以看到三尊神像。连资深的天主教徒也承认三位一体论不是根据《圣经》的教导。 “我们的反对者有时声称，任何信仰若没有《圣经》的明示，则不可固执武断地持守。可是改革教派自己都接受了这些教条，如三位一体论，这道理在福音书中是没有确切权威认证的。” （葛林著，《生命杂志》1950年10月30日，原文第51页）注：葛林是著名的天主教作家。 再说，这三位一体论是伪宗教的核心教义，正如这段引言所表达的：“至圣三位一体神的奥秘，乃是基督教信仰和生活的核心奥秘。... 因此，它是所有其他信仰奥秘的源头。” （《天主教要理问答》，第234题） “在共济会之中，没有比三位一体论更基础或更受到强调的教义了。”（共济会世界网站） 三位一体神乃是外邦神。《圣经》警告我们勿事奉外邦神。在约书亚记24:20中，我们读：“你们若离弃耶和华【单数】去事奉外邦神【复数】，耶和华在降福之后，必转而降祸与你们，把你们灭绝。” 约翰壹书2:22-23说：“谁是说谎话的呢？不是那不认耶稣为基督的吗？不认父与子的，这就是敌基督的。凡不认子的就没有父。认子的连父也有了。” 犹大也警告信徒要提防某些偷进教会的人。看看犹大书1:4：“因为有些人偷着进来，就是自古被定受刑罚的，是不虔诚的，将我们神的恩变作放纵情欲的机会，并且不认独一的主宰我们（我们或作和我们）主耶稣基督。” Here is a table showing the differences of the truth God gave His remnant Church which were non-Trinitarian and the introduction of the word Trinity in the first Fundamental Beliefs in 1931, which was NOT even officially voted on until 1980. This was done 16 years AFTER the death of Ellen White and after all the original pioneers were dead. Ellen White wrote: “And now, after half a century of clear light from the Word as to what is truth, there are arising many false theories, to unsettle minds. But the evidence given in our early experience has the same force that it had then. The truth is the same as it ever has been, and not a pin or a pillar can be moved from the structure of truth. That which was sought for out of the Word in 1844, 1845, and 1846 remains the truth today in every particular.” — (E.G. White, Letter 38, 1906) It was in this three year period that the pillars of faith were established. So more than 11 years after she supposedly became a Trinitarian, she states that the truths established in these first three years remained the same in every way still in 1906. So why was it now possible in 1930 to write a new Fundamental Statement of Beliefs? 1.Uriah Smith became silent when he died in 1903. 2.Daniel Bordeau became silent at his death in 1905. 3.Ellen G. White became silent at her death in 1915. 4.Ellet J. Waggoner and Dr. David Paulson became silent when they died the following year in 1916. 5.Stephen N. Haskell became silent at his death in 1922. 6.Alonzo T. Jones became silent at his death in 1923. 7.John Norton Loughborough became silent at his death in 1924. By the end of the 1930's the last remaining “old guard” pioneers had died and a new generation of Adventist leaders was coming into prominence. The timing was possible for the change in 1930 because certain individuals would not be able to sound an alarm. Their voices were now silent. Their writings could still speak but this would not be as effectual as a live pioneer speaking in protest to the changes that began in 1926. For many years the writings of pioneer Adventists were eliminated from the shelves of Adventist Book Centers. The writings of E.J. Waggoner and A.T. Jones had been virtually impossible to find until recent years. “Leaves Of Autumn Books” and other independent ministries are responsible for the restoration of pioneer Adventist writings being restored including to Adventist Book Centers. In 1980, the General Conference voted on a new set of “27 Fundamental Beliefs” in which the trinity doctrine was upheld. Fundamental belief number 2 now read, “2. The Trinity. There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons.” (Emphasis). The concept delineated here is that there are “three co-eternal Persons” and this part is in complete harmony with the Catholic Church's pagan teaching regarding the trinity. In 1981, SDA General Conference President, Neal C. Wilson, announced to the General Conference meeting in Dallas, Texas, that the Church had officially adopted the trinity doctrine, which was now number 2 in the Church's “27 Fundamental Beliefs.” He wrote, “There is another universal and truly catholic organization, the Seventh-day Adventist Church,” — (Adventist Review, March 5, 1981, p. 3) I for one cannot disagree with his statement. As far as the three-in-one part of the trinity doctrine goes that says, the Father is God, Jesus is God, the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three gods but one God, they are now on par with the Catholic Church just as the Papacy and Satan had no doubt planned. “父不审判什么人，乃将审判的事全交与子，23 叫人都尊敬子如同尊敬父一样。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差子来的父。” （看使徒行传2：36；腓立比书2：9-10；希伯来书1：6） e。祂的名 腓立比书 2:9 “所以上帝将他升为至高，又赐给他那超乎万名之上的名，10 叫一切在天上的、地上的和地底下的，因耶稣的名无不屈膝，” 希伯来书1：4 “他所承受的名既比天使的名更尊贵，就远超过天使。” f。万有 彼得在他第一封书信里说到同样的事情，他说： 彼得前书1：10，11 “论到这救恩，那预先说你们要得恩典的众先知早已详细地寻求考察，就是考察在他们心里基督的灵，预先证明基督受苦难，后来得荣耀，是指着什么时候，并怎样的时候。” 圣灵=基督的灵 根据以上四节经文，我们可以很肯定地得出以下结论： 基督的灵=圣灵=父的灵 3。 一共有几个圣灵呢？ 以弗所书4：4 以弗所书2:18 “因为我们两下藉着他【耶稣】被一个圣灵所感，得以进到父面前。” 约翰福音20:22 “说了这话，就向他们吹一口气，说：“你们受圣灵。” 父的灵藉着耶稣来到我们这里，也藉着祂回到父那里去。 9。到我们这里来成为我们保惠师的是谁？ 约翰福音14:18，19 “我不撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。还有不多的时候，世人不再看见我，你们却看见我，因为我活着，你们也要活着。” 10。父要怎么把耶稣差到我们这里来呢？是耶稣的肉体还是祂的灵？ 加拉太书4:6 “你们既为儿子，上帝就差他儿子的灵进入你们（原文作“我们”）的心，呼叫：“阿爸，父！” 注：保罗在加拉太书里告诉我们，当我们领受耶稣的灵时，我们将呼叫：“阿爸，父！” 他同样在罗马书 8：15说到，当我们领受儿子的心时，我们将呼叫：“阿爸，父！” 这再一次证明了圣灵是耶稣的灵。也比较加拉太书4：6和使徒行传3：26. 11。当我们领受耶稣的灵时，我们是否领受耶稣以外的另一位呢？ 哥林多后书 3:17 “主就是那灵；主的灵在哪里，那里就得以自由。” 保罗在歌林多前书8：6告诉我们，有一位主，就是耶稣基督，接着在以弗所书告诉我们圣灵只有一个。然而，保罗在以上的经文里告诉我们“主就是那灵”。如果主就是耶稣而圣灵只有一位的话。那相信圣灵是主耶稣灵的形式是非常合理并符合圣经的。耶稣本身来到我们这里带当我们个人的保惠师。圣灵就是耶稣的位格。 12。圣经是否告诉我们耶稣成了灵呢？ 哥林多前书15:45 我在父里面，父在我里面，你不信吗？我对你们所说的话，不是凭着自己说的，乃是住在我里面的父作他自己的事。20 到那日你们就知道我在父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。” 14。在我们心门外叩门的是谁呢？ 启示录3：20 “看哪，我站在门外叩门，若有听见我声音就开门的，我要进到他那里去，我与他，他与我，一同坐席。” 15。什么是有荣耀的盼望呢？ 歌罗西书1：27 耶稣同坐在父的宝座上: 启示录3:21告诉我们说，耶稣同坐在父的宝座上。所以，宝座上有两位神性生物。 • 陈设饼的桌子和上面所摆列的两叠饼恰当地代表了父和子在天上圣所的头一格内，就是耶稣履行祂职份的圣所内。 b。地上圣所给我们呈现了几位神性生物呢？ 他们是谁呢？ 地上圣所的研究证明只有两位神性生物，就是中保/大祭司耶稣，和父上帝。这再次印证了两位神性生物而已，不是三位。 c。圣灵又如何呢？祂在圣所中吗？ 在圣所中有些不具位格的和无生命的元素，代表圣灵，例如用来点燃灯台的油。但重点是，我们没有看见代表圣灵的第三位生物。圣灵的确有在，但没有形体，不像父子有形体那样。油是圣灵的一种象征，然而油也用在圣所中来产生光，而光则是耶稣的象征（约翰福音8:12; 9:5） 三，圣所的院子 a。我们可以从圣所的院子中学到什么关于神性生物的教训呢？ 院子中的职务涉及三位生物: 1。耶稣为祭牲: 祭牲不论是羊羔或牛犊（利未记 4:3）代表上帝的儿子耶稣（约翰福音 1:26,39） 2。我们是罪人: 那亲手杀祭牲的罪人（利未记 4:4）代表认罪并献上属灵祭物的罪人（彼得前书 2:5）。 3。耶稣是那受膏的祭司: 受膏的祭司将血带入圣所（利未记 4:5）。这也代表耶稣，我们的大祭司。（希伯来书 4:14; 5:10; 6:20） b。院子的职务给我们呈现了几位神性生物? The well-known Adventist Trinitarian Jerry Moon who was a co-author of the book “The Trinity” wrote, “That most of the leading SDA pioneers were non-Trinitarian in their theology has become accepted Adventist history,” He then goes on to say, “either the pioneers were wrong and the present church is right, or the pioneers were right and the present Seventh-day Adventist Church has apostatized from biblical truth.” — (Jerry Moon, The Trinity, Chapter, Trinity and antitrinitarianism in Seventh-day Adventist history, p. 190) Sadly, the latter is true. The present Seventh-day Adventist Church has apostatized from biblical truth. Ellen White wrote this at least 11 years after it was claimed she had become a Trinitarian. “And now, after half a century of clear light from the Word as to what is truth, there are arising many false theories, to unsettle minds. But the evidence given in our early experience has the same force that it had then. The truth is the same as it ever has been, and not a pin or a pillar can be moved from the structure of truth. That which was sought for out of the Word in 1844, 1845, and 1846 remains the truth today in every particular.” — (E.G. White, Letter 38, 1906) It was in this three year period that the pillars of faith were established. So more than 11 years after she supposedly became a Trinitarian, she states that the truths established in these first three years remained the same in every way still in 1906.
