Transforming Knowledge of God

Transforming Knowledge of God

Proverbs 2:5 – “Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.”

2 Peter 1:2-3 – “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, v3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”

Ephesians 1:17-18 – “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: v18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.”

1 Corinthians 12:8 – “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit.”

God is not a mystery.  It is important to have full knowledge of who you are truly worshipping.

For those people who follow their clergy that says God is a mystery.  What are they missing?  What knowledge are they missing?

Hosea 4:1-2 – “Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.”

Hosea 4:6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

Who will we be worshipping?

Will we be worshipping a trinity god in heaven and on the new earth?  No. We will worship Jehovah who is our heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ, “the Lamb.”

Revelation 7:9-10 – “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; v10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”

Revelation 20:6 – “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

Revelation 21 – “v1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. v2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. v3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. v4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.v5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. v22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. v23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”

Revelation 22:1, 3 – “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.v3 - And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.”
